I first heard about a coffee bar with a house cat and I was immediately intrigued. It's on a cute street with other local shops in long beach. Parking is easy to find in residential streets around the area. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was an impressive amount of people. However, this isn't a coffee shop where you can chill with your friends and talk. It's definitely supposed to be a quiet place where people can work on their laptops or read. The walls are lines with overflowing bookcases and comic cut outs referring to the diabolical plans hatched by their house cat. The hot chocolate I purchased was yummy. The only complaint is their bathroom is a little grimy.

I like this place, It’s cozy, good wifi, has tasty pastry and good coffee. The interior is a little too dark for my personal preference but it is a good place to have some work done or just to have a cup of coffee alone or with a friend. It os a dog friendly place that is super awesome. Has unisex bathroom and has wheelchair accessible entrance. Prices are okey regular hipster coffee shop prices. 3 STARS because there is no AC and during spring and summer it gets uncomfortable. Its on the Broadway and i do see some homeless people inside or outside sitting. I would not recommend this place for kids - the environment is not kid friendly. Parking on the Broadway is never easy same for this place, has street parking that is free after 7pm.

I've been here a couple of times just to grab a coffee and it's nice because they stay open later than a lot of other coffee shops. The do have bakery-type food items available for purchase, as well. There is no parking on-site, so you'll have to try your luck in the streets, looking for parking. The coffee is on-point, though! This place attracts a lot of hipsters and both times I have been, there were poetry readings or something like that going on, like an open mic night. The atmosphere and decor are kind of like a den/home library would look like, which is cool. Not terribly expensive, either. Check it out!

Whoever the older guy with glasses, a beard and balding is needs an attitude check. He's rude, acts as if ordering and asking for the status on wifi (that was down for HOURS) is an inconvenience. I wish portfolios was open late, but this is the only place open late. Also their comedy show was BS. Comics were cool, but show was dragged on way too long. Really wish I could like this place but been here twice and the main guy at the register makes the place so incredibly uncomfortable 😬😬

A staple in Belmont Heights. Come hang out in this cozy coffee/tea shop that also serves breakfast sandwiches (the fluffy egg and cheese croissants are my favorite), baked goods, ice cream and more. The two conjoined indoor seating areas are furnished with eclectic decor and the small outdoor sidewalk tables allow for people (and dog) watching.

Fantastic local coffee with the ambience of a library in a stately old home. Very comfortable seating. Excellent owner who pays great attention to his customers. And a good assortment of tasty sweets and savory food items. Highly recommended.

Great coffee and cakes etc. Loved the German chocolate cake. Good place to work on laptop or read. Seems to have a different vibe than before though, they got rid of the eclectic old couches and there's a more serious studying kinda crowd.

Busy place, but awesome drinks and deserts. If you can find a seat, worth reading or studying. Best part is it's open early and until midnight, perfect for students or introverts.

Got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Panini with ham for about $10. Coffee was pretty good for a non-Vietnamese joint. Panini was okay, but the focus here is drinks not food. There are a lot of cake options, it looks like these are not baked on the spot. Setting is your standard independently ran coffee shop. Had a "punk" feel. Overall place is dark and cluttered as part of the atmosphere. I got a lot of done in the couple hours that I stayed. Plenty of table space. This is a good place to study or be productive. Staff was very kind.
