(This review is for the coffee house)
Great service - they greet you as soon as you walk in the door, and are friendly and helpful.

I had a slice of cherry coconut coffee cake, and it was large and so good, as well as reasonably priced. They have a large selection of coffee drinks and desserts, along with great iced coffee.

They have a lovely sitting area filled with garden flowers.

    They accept credit/debit cards.

This is a nice and cozy place to stay in Lee Vining. It is right around the Mono Lake. Does not look like to be crowded usually.
I took a room for two which costed me around $85.
I think the rooms are good for a single traveler.
Size of the room is very small(Photo attached and it was taken from the door).
There is no storage space inside the room(except a bedside drawer), no microwave, no TV, no free tea or coffee.
They provide blanket which was warm enough, free wifi, a heater, a fan, a chair and a small basin at one corner. There was hardly any space if you keep your bags and stuffs(for 2 persons) on the floor.
They have adequate parking space though.
Bathroom is shared with 2 toilets and 1 shower. Every time I used them it was clean.
They have a small cafe and a nice garden in the front. You can buy a tea or coffee in the morning and while taking the sip you can get warmed up in the sun sitting on the garden chairs. The Cafe sells breakfast sandwiches and cookies, brownies, breads too.
Mixed reaction about the staffs. Some were nice and some in the morning had a bit of attitude.

Older motel with lots of charm. Outdoors surrounded by flowerbgardens and lots of seating for guests. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was actually two small rooms, queen in front and twin in back. No TV, microwave, or fridge and wifi reception was horrible. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was tiny but effective. Also, no breakfast included but there is a coffee shop in the office that also serves breakfast and pastries. In spite of all the missing amenities I would definitely stay here again when passing through this way. Very close to 120, so easy access to Yosemite valley.

Lovely small gourmet coffee shop. They bake fresh pastries and their Berry muffin is my favorite
    Great service and friendly staff

The best spot in town. A pleasant surprise while on the road. A total oasis with restrooms and garden seating. Fun, friendly staff. Lattes and espresso for the parents, yummy fresh smoothies for the kids.
    Cute motel adjoined!

Love the smoothies and sandwiches. They have free internet in a beautiful setting- a garden with hummingbirds. Such a little surprise to come across on long road trips. Frequented this spot while on a wildlife project in nearby Yosemite National Park. Staff was ALWAYS so friendly to everyone. Thank you.

I always put El Mono Motel & Latte De Coffee Cafe on the map when I'm planning a trip up the 395. The sandwiches are delicious and service is stellar! I always try to grab a cute spot outside for lunch, and then grab a sammy to go, for after my hike off the CA 108. Try the Sage Grouse if you like spicy and zucchini, it's my fave

We enjoyed it - minimal but pleasant rooms, and many nice extra touches. Surrounded with flowers, lovely garden with birds, chairs outside each room, box of books for reading, and of course the excellent coffee - which we wished were available before the cafe opens at 7am.

Very, very good coffee & a delicious vegetarian sandwich....Just what I needed for a lunch break. Worth every penny. Definitely appreciated the social distancing efforts. And they provided a mask because I'd left mine in my pickup across the street. I very much appreciated this small business.
