Brew Coffee Spot

Really enjoyed this place. Great coffee, food, and atmosphere. Was so nice to relax on the patio and chat with my friends. The staff was incredible, as well. Can't wait to go back!

Went in to get some coffee and saw two employees yelling at each other and not paying attention to any customers who had just walked in. I don't know who the manager is -if they have one- but they don't seem to be managing their employees at all.

Also saw price list and 5 dollars for a medium coffee?? Overall a really overpriced and low quality visit.

This place has really delicious coffee! It's super high quality, rich, bold and super smooth flavor. The atmosphere is spacious and there are lots of tables. I only gave 4 stars because unfortunately this place is so awesome that it's almost impossible to find a table to sit at! I always end up getting my coffee to go, for this reason. So I never get a chanxe to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere.

It's a great place for the community and I love the vibe, however every time I've been here it's been consistently slow in getting my drink(s). I've been here during their live music nights or weekends when it's crazy and even the middle of the day. It's been consistently SLOW. Service is great, the baristas know they're a bit slow and sometimes they are apologetic.
I've learn to just get drip coffee so I don't have to wait that long.

There's definitely room for improvement and some Lean strategies could be implemented in this shop but I guess if there's business and no competition who cares right?

I thought the food and drinks were good, however it took a very long time for me to get my drink and there was no one in line when I ordered. I literally was dying of thirst but it took like 35 minutes for me to get my iced green tea. 🙃 it was good enough but the wait when it's 100 degrees outside, sucked.

Updating to acknowledge the amazing customer service this morning. They were busier than I've ever seen them and I messed up my order. The barista was beyond gracious in making me feel better as well as going above and beyond to fix it for me. In a moment where I would normally feel stupid, I actually left feeling great. Kudos to Brew team and this is why I return again and again.

Awesome place with yummy food and drinks!

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and fantastic coffee! I didn't eat, but the food looks good and the prices are great. It did take about 15 minutes to get my Americano, but that was because of the number of orders they were cranking out. It was a Sunday morning at 10am, Soni think that's understandable. The staff was very friendly and you can tell there are many regulars coming in. I can see myself making many returns. This is a good spot to grab coffee or to sit down and enjoy brunch. They also have evening events! Live music and painting classes! A gem worth experiencing.

I absolutely love Brew, and it’s so nice to have a spot like this nearby in La Mesa. Great selection of standard and specialty coffees, delicious pastries of all kinds, and kind staff. Large inside area when that’s an option, and decent outside patio as well. More of a lunch spot though, with how late they open 😜

Brew coffee spot is a phenomenal addition to the area. It's the first true coffee house, for which they're just absolutely perfect, but they also have great breakfast and lunch options. It's community oriented, very lively, and hosts many events, including things such as painting, live music, and game night! The floor plan is beautifully done and very open. Everything is of tremendous quality. And the graphic designs, whether that be for the swag or signs, is truly remarkable! You should definitely stop by, Brew is wonderful, tasty, and homely!
