Silver Fork Cafe

Clean place, simple menu. I guess it's reasonably priced but burgers and sandwiches don't come with fries or sides so it ended up being a little spendy. Google app told me (in a popup notification) they take Google Pay but that's not the case. The gentleman at the register seemed a little annoyed when I asked.

This place is just so freaking good.

The owner and cook are amazing, the food is spectacular, we come here every time we’re out here near the Silver Fork Cafe. My wife always gets the biscuits and gravy! I highly recommend them!

I didn't order a drink so he charged additional 15%

Even has a hand written note on cash register stating "Some Customers 15% Service Charge"

I am only writing this review to counterbalance the one-star review snooty pants who were expecting a road house cafe to be a culinary experience. Our orders were fine and the bathrooms were clean because the owner tossed out all you highway bound freeloaders who think this is a Rittenhouse Square Starbucks.

Near my cabin and I have eaten there many times great biscuits & gravy; omelets, all breakfasts & sandwiches & burgers. Closes at 3 PM. Easy access on way to & from tahoe.

I was in the area with my girl visiting her mother, and we wanted something to eat on the way back. I ordered us two philly cheese steaks and lemonades. He comes back with our order. All the sandwhiches had on them was a tough and chewy thin piece of sirloin with lettuce tomatoe. I asked for cheese. Instead of giving it to me he said that the philly doesnt have cheese on it. ...what? It was weird but i wanted to be cool in front of my girl. I ask for the check. This guy not only got our order wrong but he charged me for 2 rib eye sandwhiches! The bill was 30 bucks! And when I brought it up he said ok ill charge you one philly cheese steak and one rib eye. I was so angry I just paid it and left. HORRIBLE service. I will not only never go back but Im going to warn everybody. The guy straight up scammed me.

Terrible experience and awful customer service. The owner has literally kicked me out of the restaurant for wanting to use the bathroom first and then order food. I was with my 6 yr old son and he really needed to go.

The Reuben is perfect! Cute little spot to stop on our way home.

They didn’t have a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on their menu so when I asked him how much it would cost /he told me $7.99 -and I left.I should’ve known not to go in there when I saw to sign saying restrooms are for customers only no exceptions within 3 feet of each other at the front door this guy that’s running the place is not right he needs to retire I don’t think he likes customers at all

Nice small restaurant. Service is good. Breakfast is good. Well cooked eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, potato, bread. Much better than fast food.
