We left them a tip and my wife checked her bank account statements and they some how tipped them selves more than what she wrote down. These guys are rude and are crooks. we have the original receipt and the bank statement. DO NOT GO HERE ALSO FOOD WAS DISGUSTING.

Never encountered such restaurants in my life. Horrible customer service. We stopped by on our way to Lake Tahoe for lunch. The way restaurant person behaves we simply left the restaurant immediately. He is definitely had issues with non-white people. Think twice before you plan a stop here

The food was tasy and afforadable. Yes the bathrooms were for paying customers but,what do you expect ? toilet paper ,paper towels ,water etc cost money! I found the customer service to be oaky he is short and sweet and to the point . I would definitely eat there again on my way to Tahoe .

Good breakfast! Only annoying thing was the people who poured in trying to just use the bathroom. This is a small cafe on the road to Tahoe, has signs clearly posted restrooms for customers. Like those of us who live up here they are on a septic system. It cannot support massive numbers of people who forgot to pee before leaving Pollock Pines. The poor owner had to finally lock the door. People were irate at having to buy food too use the restroom. Every place between Pollock Pines and Tahoe has to charge to use the BR! It's not a RIGHT to go in and use a private businesses BR. The food is ample, fresh and good.

The minute we stepped into the place, a man came over without serving or asking us what we'd like to order, instead, he just said "the restroom is not available for use". We felt so strange and tried to explain to him we just wanted to order some food instead of taking the restroom, the man kept saying no restroom out loud, there were a few other customers sitting in the place with a shocking face, the man is crazy! Don't come to this place unless you want to try this type of service!

Stopped here on our way to South Lake Tahoe, and so glad we did! The pot stickers are DELICIOUS; burger was great as was the Reuben! Owner was really friendly and service was great.

Pretty good place to stop and eat! The food was really good but it did take a while. Would recommend if you need a quick bite.

Solid place to stop on a drive. Reasonable prices and cheesy omelettes. My companion said the hash browns were excellent. Attentive yet quirky owner/manager adds to the charm of this spot.

My family has owned a cabin in Silverfork for almost 20 years. We have eaten at this restuarant since we started coming up here. We have seen several owners come and go. They have great omelettes and love the cheese burger. Best hamburger bun ever. Owner and his wife very nice. A little shy though. I always try to get him to smile. I can say I am an irregular, regular. Love having lunch there when its snowing.

This place is terrible. The guy crushed my foot with his foot. The breakfast said it comes with country potatoes, but he never gave us any. He then charged us an 18% service charge without mentioning it. Never coming back. Place was profoundly disappointing. DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY.
