Experience ruined by a dog in the cafe. Nice place but some customers had a dog tied up right in the area I’d have wanted to sit. Staff said nothing about the dog’s presence despite federal law prohibiting animals in restaurants. It clearly wasn’t a service dog, either, since it would bark occasionally - an ear-splitting racket destroying the otherwise chill vibe.
This is one of the few Coffee shops in June like that are open before 9 AM. The barista‘s are very cheery and the coffee hits the spot! They have a great selection of breakfast food and other drinks. You can also grab a glass of wine or a beer and sit on their patio. The patio is a great place two people watch and see all the tourists walking around and driving through town. Inside the place is very clean and has a warm cozy feeling to it. There’s plenty of seating and the bathrooms are clean.
This place is great. Basil pig is a must. A side note
June Lake like many mountain towns is dog friendly. The joker that made the comment about dogs hates dogs. Look at his other reviews. It says a lot about you lack of humanity when you hate dogs. So……I’ll do his review….. had a great sandwich Had some really good wine. I’ll be back.
Healthy and delicious breakfast! Very cute spot with outdoor seating. Breakfast menu changes often, so it's nice to see what they have every morning. The muffins and cookies were so yummy! We ended up getting more for the road! The coffee is strong and there are tea, kombucha, and beer options as well. Definitely a place you need to stop by when you're in the area.
The coffe wasn't that great, the service wasn't that great, the place is nice 👍 I heard the barista saying he forgot the mocha in all the spicy mochas he made that day, no wonder our drinks sucked.
Great spot and friendly service. The vegan breakfast burrito was fresh and delicious. The avocado toast was ok - the bread just wasn't fresh, chunky, or tasty enough for it to be excellent.
Friendly and fast service. Good food and drinks. A quaint little place with spectacular views of the mountains. Convenient location and hours in the town of June Lake. A much needed addition to the town.
We showed up at a very busy time. They had a new worker at the register, which wasn't helping the speed. But we were not in a hurry, so we relaxed and waited.
I saw the manager working with an arm injury, all the while calmly correcting the new person's mistakes. Good management style from what I saw. Got her point across without being mean.
The coffee and the baked goods were excellent. Worth the wait. I figure if we caught them at a rough time and things still turned out well, it's probably great all the time.
My biggest issue with this place is their lack of knowledge regarding the laws of service dogs. FYI, service dog owners do NOT need to show proof of being a service dog AND it is ILLEGAL for staff to ask a person for documentation. Nor do the dogs need to be wearing an identifier that they are a service dog. A very rude woman (who I assume is the owners wife) scoffed after we told her he was a service dog and as she walked away said “well he’s not wearing anything that says that”. Extremely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing for their staff. We could sue this establishment for their lack of knowledge and how we were treated. Besides that, food and coffee were good. Long wait but good. Please educate your staff. Will not return

Best coffee in the eastern sierras! Also try the garden goddess breakfast sandwich! Or the basil pig is another favorite
