The back patio area is nice but I wish they had a vibey interior area to hang out. There’s so much potential but you can’t fault a business for not being what you want it to be lol. Good coffee. I love the irony in the bold pink and royal blue branding when everything else here is neutral toned. It’s fun.

We ordered a large cold brew coffee. Size could have been bigger. Great taste, we love the coffee.

There seems to be a lot of hipster hype around the place (ie. Google the story about the founder). But first, they were remodeling the interior so it wasn’t the full experience.
They have a great outdoor patio with a lot of rusted iron, cacti, and dirt. It’s the desert, duh. The coffee was just aight. It used to be super dark and almost tasted burnt but they must have adjusted the flavor or sourcing to appeal to the crowd.
Beware, it’s like a mini LA with all the tools who are pretending to be outdoorsy even though they live in the city. You’ve been warned.

Bought a couple of bags at a farmers market in Joshua Tree for myself and my family as a souvenir, brought them home to Georgia, and grinded them fresh. I drink coffee from all over the world and this one is definitely a strong competitor. Wonderful flavor, smell, and strength. I got the First Roast blend. It reminds me of a lot of my favorite South American coffees. If you like those kind of strong yet flavorful blends, you will love this one.

First time I went here my iced latte was good. Recently went back for a cappuccino though and it was definitely made like a latte, not an actual cappuccino. Too big (always a red flag when coffee shops ask me what size cappuccino I want), and not frothed well. Something I see happen a lot at small town coffee shops.
Giving three stars because I really liked the staff and would definitely give it another try! I just think more small town coffee shops need to work on their cappuccinos.

Googled best coffee shop in Yucca Valley and only Starbucks and some cafes came up. Not a good sign. Then searched best coffee in Joshua Tree and glad this place came up. The hot latte and the iced latte tasted great. Will go back again tomorrow for our coffee fix and buy some of their beans. The staff were all nice and helpful. If you like real coffee I would recommend this place.

Nice patio seating area and clean restroom. The coffee tasted dark and bitter, not a fan.
I was really disappointed by the Light Roast Mellow Ethiopian beans I bought. It is actually very bitter and not like typical Ethiopian/Yirgacheffe. It is lacking any citrus notes and does not have a clean/light body. They are blended beans and more like dark roast.
If you like to add milk and sugar to the coffee, this is the place to go

We have gotten lattes both times we have come here. I would generally say it is unique tasting, but ok. They use darker roast beans for the espresso than what we are accustomed to (I think maybe the Bali beans). Unfortunately right now their main shop is under construction so you order everything under a tent, and then someone comes out from the main shop to give you your order. Both times we’ve gone this week we’ve experienced pretty long lines, but it could be just the overall traffic found in JT versus renovations.

Coffee was good. Indoor is only for their workers and you order from their outdoor tent.

If you’re ok waiting for 50 minutes for 2 coffees and a hot chocolate, then go ahead. Tasty coffee but don’t expect anyone to be even remotely pleasant, or to make your 3 drinks in a timely manner.
Edit: finally got our drinks. Edited down to 1 star due to Tepid temperature, and we got ours after the third time asking if ours was ever coming out. The people who got their order right before us had a pick up time 25 minutes later than ours. No apology, no “thanks for waiting”.
Bathrooms both had no toilet paper in them. Nice.
