A tidy- looking boba place with good drinks! I ordered osmanthus oolong tea with milk and pleasantly found the flavor of osmanthus to be very strong! The house fruit tea tasted good too, with pieces of fruits that you can eat after finishing the tea. Online order was very convenient, you can even order online and pay in store. The only thing is that their tapioca is pretty small, I prefer bigger and chewier tapioca.

A good boba option while driving down the PCH. This stop is right in between Gaviota and Santa Barbara on Highway 1/the 101 Freeway. Also a 30 min drive away from Solvang. Perfect spot for a boba craving mid-road trip!

I got the Oolong Tea with Milk, which was decent. More milk than tea. However, I got this drink with the Oolong Tea Jelly and it was a game changer! so much flavor from the jelly. It gave the drink much more depth. Even my boyfriend (who doesn't drink too much boba) really enjoyed it!

Was craving boba and unfortunately came across this spot when I was in town. I’ve never had boba that was so soft and lacked chewiness. I got the lemon green tea with boba. Took a sip and it went into the trash. They don’t remake drinks if you don’t like them which is fair but what a waste of $7 for me.

We loved Hochaya, very authentic, only recently we discovered very water-down drinks and sharp increase in prices. A favorite drink is now over $8, and the taste isn't the same, watered-down and disappointing. This also happened with other favorites, too. Also, very rude service happens more frequently. Greed!

A delicious and of course, a refreshing stop for tapioca balls drinks and toppings. Fresh and creative. The grass jelly with milk needs a tea added to it. Pearls are soft and chewy. Nothing extraordinary here, but it's a reliable and clean.

The opening of Hochaya was a major improvement to the pretty limited bubble tea market of the area. Offering toppings and foam that can't be found elsewhere, the level of customization alone is worth trying. The fruit based teas are all nice and refreshing and their standard boba topping is always perfectly chewy. My preferred order is either the grass jelly milk tea or fresh taro milk tea at 30% sugar and less ice. Priced fairly, my house is a frequent customer of Hochaya!

Went to try the new Boba place in Goleta, Hochaya. Staff was friendly and welcoming and my drink was quickly made. They use real taro non powdered with fresh made Boba and the teas weren't overly sweet like most places. Great spot overall, will definitely be going back to try the other flavors.

If you love boba, this is definitely the place. One of my favorites, and I’ve been to a lot of different ones. Great variety of drinks and toppings. Great prices and friendly staff. I definitely would recommend this place.

The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I loved that! But the Taro boba I purchased was honestly the worse Taro boba I've ever tasted. I hope they can improve this drink in the future since it's my favorite. I was visiting the area and that's how I came across this place. I might give it a try another time because the atmosphere was welcoming and it was very clean.
