We visited your place in April, not knowing what to expect and found your restaurant to be the friendliest on our entire trip, and the icing on the cake was the most wonderful meals we experienced on our trip. 5 star rating from all 3 of us!
Will visit again when we return

Happened upon this little treasure by accident while passing through on the way to Avenue of the Giants (redwoods). Woodrose is comfort food for the health conscience, offering both vegetarian and nonvgetarian eats. Loved the fresh juicing combos and they also have beer and feature a variety of locally produced hot sauces. I ordered the vegetarian Burrito and it was tasty. Others in my family ordered sandwich and hamburger combinations. Family/kid friendly. Convenient location, just off the highway.7

Food was awesome, staff were great and the facility's were clean. We will eat here again.

Hidden jewel!!! OMG the farmhouse omelette was so good. Perfect potatoes, and the giant glass of 50/50 was the perfect meal. Idk what is going on with the sauce, but I could not get enough!!!

Woodrose cafe has been serving up breakfast to the southern humboldt community for 20+ years. Nice locally owned place with good solid food. For the vegetarians there is a delicious Rasta ranchero and the coffee is strong!

We were starving and said we'd stop at the next exit for food. I couldn't be happier that we stumbled upon this place.
Best damn coffee I've had in ages. Hubby had the special: Potatoes O'Brien. These aren't like any PO I've ever seen. Yummier than yummy potatoes, organic green and purple bell peppers, organic red onions all topped with scrambled eggs and a gluten free cheese sauce. Yep. Gluten-Free. Wth? Am I in heaven?
I had the Eggs Bernadette. I don't know who Bernadette is, but I like her. Two perfectly poached eggs over Niman Ranch ham slathered with....wait for it.....gluten free cheese sauce. My belly says thank you. After a weekend of indulging in all things gluten and ripping my stomach to shreds, I wanted to get down on the floor and kiss the cooks feet.
Thank you for appearing in the middle of nowhere. If we venture back this way, we'll be sure to visit again!

'm sorry butt I can't even give this place a single star, we've been to Garberville several times over the past 45 years and this used to be a great place to eat but not anymore we stopped like always I had a bowl of oatmeal what looked more like a plate of oatmeal and my wife had a poached egg with some type of gravy on it and she said it was the worst tasting breakfast that she had ever had, I also had a small orange juice witch was the smallest glass I've ever seen as well. Now this is the shocker, out came our check and the amount was $ 28. 45 Please don't waist your time nor your money. !!!

Wow. Just, wow. The Huevos Rancheros are the best we have ever had. We even rerouted our return trip to take us by so we could get them again!

Twice I've ordered "vegetarian" quesadillas that were inedible from here. Quesadillas tasted like they were saturated in old bacon grease. As a vegetarian of 20 years this is really disappointing. I'd hope that a place that has several vegetarian options on the menu would be more considerate of this.

Food is good. My waiter was great. My only complaint is a waitress in spandex paints dropped my food down and walk away without saying a word. She later returned and dropped off the check, in the same nonchalant manner.
Rude.
