Woodrose Cafe

We used to go on a motorcycle rally in the area. Every year for 10 years, even when it rained, we made the trip. I would always order oatmeal at this diner. Just like homemade.

Food is okay, kinda overpriced. Service was good.

Great place for healthy food when camping in the Redwoods! Lots of vegan and gluten free options. The veggie omelette was loaded with tons of broccoli and cauliflower. Everything on the menu is organic :) great juices too! Will definitely come back whenever we're in the area.

Amazing little cafe with great grub. Their hummus is the best I've had in a restaurant, better even than the ones in SFV. Great coffee and breakfast, and local hot sauces are bomb. Aesthetics great, music fire. This place basically sets the standard for diners!

Woodrose Cafe is a gem. Not only is the food wonderful, including a very pleasing presentation, but the coffee and service was all that anyone could expect. Wish I lived closer, Woodrose Cafe would be my go-to place.

Great food but prepare to be treated very differently if you’re not local. I’m one who is always willing to give folks waiting tables a lot of grace. It’s tough work especially in these times. So when they were not very friendly and impatient, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, when locals showed up in there was a stark difference in treatment. Warmth, greetings and friendliness for those who were local. Cold and impatient for those who are not. There was another couple there, also not local, treated the same.

How do I express my appreciation & gratitude?
I do it by cleaning every dish I order @theWoodRoseCafe. I leave love on my bill & with that fill... I'm rollin happy down the hill! Thank for your wonderful service & hospitality. Aloha 🤙🏽

The service was upbeat, friendly and good! The single pancake was quite large the size of a dinner plate and about half an inch thick. Vegan cheese sauce extra tasty and delicious. Vibe hip and casual. And most everything organic. Would make it my go-to restaurant if in the area!

Just visiting Garberville, but delighted to find this little place! Awesome food! Friendly, fast service and gluten aware. If we make it back to town we’ll definitely be back!

A port in the storm. Passing through on the way to redwoods national from SF. Really large menu and included many vegetarian and vegan sandwiches, salads, and soups. My tuna melt was good, club sandwich looked legit, and the potato salad was quite good. Clean restroom and nice sidewalk seating.
