Such delicious, healthy tasting food...! The tastes and textures left me impressed. What a little treasure of a place.
One of the best meals ever; unpretentious and fenomenal.
The service and the atmosphere were sensational.

Try a fresh-made carrot and orange juice, Lox scrambled, omelet with avocado and everything...

The WoodRose Cafe was a very hospitable Cafe. A beautiful intimate Cafe in the heart of Southern Humboldt. The food was fresh, cooked very well, & they had plenty of options. Also the Tea Menu was very nice, served at the perfect temperature with honey available. My friends & I enjoyed this place twice during our visit to Garberville. I look forward to coming back on my next visit & bringing more friends with me. Thank you for welcoming us.

Had to stop in the town overnight due to a flat tire on our way up the coast. The next morning we came to woodrose for breakfast and it was SO delicious it almost made the flat tire worth it haha. I recommend this place 10 out of 10 stars if your passing through town!!

Woodrose is a cute and small little diner.
Fare leans towards the healthy side, featuring many organic ingredients.
The prices can get pretty high if you do add on’s.
For breakfast my favorites are: two eggs & toast, huevos rancheros, and the buttermilk pancake.
For lunch my favorite item is by far the club sandwich. The club is way better than your average diners. I also like their salad and soups.

It breaks my heart to give a small local independent a bad review but ………. Basically, they charged me for two tea bags without warning. Stood at the counter, put the tea bags into MY OWN CUP, talked about tea all without warning me there would be an extra charge! Based on a charge of $4.25 for a .22$ tea bag X 2!!! Pretty much ruined the vibe. I was a server for 20 yrs, ALWAYS tell the guest about extra charges. Otherwise, food was good, service friendly, clean. Nice restroom. We still tipped 20% but we’ll never return.

Their grass fed burger really did taste like it. The tuna salad was delicious. The fresh squeezed orange juice is just that! Finally, the fully loaded omelette was great, I asked for sautéed mushrooms to be added. We went for lunch one day and breakfast a day later. We cannot wait to go back. In this small town this small cafe serves up big fresh flavors.

Nice small town cafe! Service was really good but the food was one of the best breakfast I had. Waiter was on time always for more coffee and the bacon it's incredible!

We came for the soup, but on weekends they serve breakfast all day. Ordered Full house omelette and Huevos rancheros, both were delicious. Great atmosphere, pleasant service. Would come back to this place.

A gem! Stopped here during a trip up the 101 and was blown away by how great the food and service were. Highly highly recommend. Unpretentious but completely delicious, 10/10, would come back to Garberville just to eat here.

What a gem! Excellent “Eggs Woodrose”, a riff on benedicts, & fabulous potatoes. I always appreciate a one or two egg selection! Plus tea & coffee in a pot, great service, & a box of local hot sauces on the table.
