Coffee is always good, I HIGHLY recommend talking to the baristas. Let them recommend something! I got a latter with cardamom which I don’t usually like, but I took the baristas recommendation and was VERY PLEASED with the drink so thanks to that guy. They have beans and cups and stuff like that available, also hats and other merch, stuff is cooler than the typical coffee shop. Not just saying that. Get there early or expect to hang around if u go with study plans or on a date, seating gets full, didn’t say seating is limited, they just get a lot of people and there’s multiple places to sit, see my pics! Coffee and staff are helpful and environment isn’t noisy!

Adorable little shop. Always changing the roasts and very knowledgeable baristas. They have something for everyone so make sure you articulate the type of coffee you enjoy.

Volcano latte and maple leaf latte were both pretty interesting. Very cute layout with tables both indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff.

Quick stop at Play Coffee for some caffeine to get us over to LA. Loved the simplicity of their menu and the fact that they offer international roaster’s beans!
Volcano Latte (brown sugar & smoked sea salt)

Great espresso, delicious coffee. On the pricier side even for a specialty coffee shop but the baristas seem to be pros. And there’s plenty of seats and tables fitting for a college town shop.

Personally, best coffee in Fullerton. Love this place! Such friendly staff and management. I went in about two months ago on a scorching hot day and the owner went into the A/C pod and made room for me by adding a table and chair. So sweet, such a gentleman! Baristas are quick, intentional and love to make sure you love your drink. People and businesses like this make buying a latte worth it! 5 deserving stars from me!

I have been to PLAY many times. I never had any bad experiences whatsoever and the drinks are always great. However, my recent experience didn’t seem to reflect PLAY’s high standard of service. Yesterday, I was served by an Asian server at the coffeeshop. Everything seemed fine when I placed my order for a shakerato.
When the same server handed me the drink at the pick-up counter, no plastic lid was used to cover the cup. It was fine, until he unnecessarily decided to toss the plastic lid and a straw right toward the countertop for me to pick them up. Once I picked up my drink and walked away, he laughed it off like it was funny somehow.
It was really rude and I’m so disappointed with the service. Please learn to treat your customers with more respect.

Going to Play is always an amazing experience. Baristas are not only incredibly talented but also very informed on coffee and you’ll always have great conversation about coffee! The drinks are creative and tasty and the environment is fantastic.

This coffee place is somewhat of a hidden gem in Fullerton. They decorate the place like a boutique and a green coffee spot, given the container they use for the seating room. When it comes to the coffee and tea, they know how to brew and customize your drink. Price is pretty standard considering the many coffee places around the area. Overall, they’re unique by featuring tea and coffee selections from quite exotic places, one coming from Himalaya mountain or something. Their London smog is definitely the best drink they have to offer, and haven’t found similar drink elsewhere. Definitely a good stop for commuters or just whenever you pass the area for a quick drink

If you love coffee, this place is a must go to. I would recommend getting the poorover of the limited time coffee ☕️. Your tast buds will enjoy it from the first sip.
I got a chance to hear the story of how this place came to be and it just made me love this place more. Ask for Leon for the story on this place you will get to hear the passion that goes into every cup of coffee.
