Gingerbread Mansion Inn

My boyfriend and I on a whim, decided to take a little weekend getaway here, and my were we impressed. The entire place was gorgeous and the room was even better than we imagined. The staff was absolutely wonderful and we will be going there again to stay for my birthday. Definitely worth the money and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had away from home.

Nice facility, friendly staff and a great breakfast. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Quaint and exactly what you’d expect from a period bed and breakfast we’d stay there again. The only downside was some of the period furniture was a little worn.

accommodations and caring, professional staff made our stay in Ferndale, CA a memorable vacation. While you are there, make sure you visit the well maintained beautiful garden surrounding the mansion. We look forward to our next stay at the Gingerbread Mansion.

Utterly perfect bed & breakfast in a picturesque town. Very accommodating of food allergies. Cozy rooms, delicious breakfast & afternoon tea. Lovely staff.

Such heart goes into the service and maintenance here. It's the opposite of what you see in most establishments today. Paint is not chipped, furniture covers are not worn. Everything is maintained meticulously to its Victorian time period.

The gardens are beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food is great. Stay in the Veneto room if you can. After touring all the suites, it is superior even to the pricier rooms (unless you require 2 side by side tubs- then go for the Empire.)

This place is amazing! The staff are so kind and work so hard to make sure your stay is awesome. It was super clean, covid-conscious, and the food was great too. Every detail at the inn is so beautiful.

We had such a great time for my daughter's birthday here. The tea was fun with a choice of parlors to sit in. Both our rooms were lovely and the fairy lights at night special. The best part was the very helpful staff. Thanks so much for a memorable trip!

This place is amazing -- even if you're not into the time period of old Victorians. The building has been refurbished extremely well -- modern bathrooms in the rooms -- many things are in excellent condition or new. It really gives you a sense for the time period. And, it's super trippy if you're a little buzzed. Breakfast is excellent -- highly recommend. A block walk from downtown Ferndale -- which is a totally cool town with some very good restaurants.

The rooms are personable and beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was well balanced and absolutely delicious. This was the first time we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and I do not ever want to stay in a hotel again.

Granted, this place holds a lot of memories, as we spent our wedding night there when we got married in 2006. We love going back, the rooms are charming, the service is outstanding, and the breakfast is always delicious. I have no complaints and highly recommend it.
