I had planned to meet my friend for coffee and I gave her the option of this spot or another nearby coffee chain. She luckily chose this space and I was delighted. This time I ordered a cappuccino and a almond croissant. The croissant was light and delightful and the cappuccino very well made. The espresso was nice - full body, low acidity - and the foam was rich and slightly sweet. The service was great and I appreciate the attention given to all the customers. Definitely a spot to go when in this area. Just delightful.

Had a great coffee experience at Pause with my parents! Power was out up the road so we happened upon Pause as a second option, but quickly found them to be phenomenal and well-worth the trip. Great staff, delicious coffee, and a wonderful ambiance. They also had gluten free and vegan treats that are locally made - I loved the sesame tahini cookie! Highly recommend!

This is a favorite place ro come with friends for a good cup of coffee, Danish, and conversation. We never feel rushed and enjoy the ambience. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

One of the best coffee spots in Sac, a real and genuine great vibe, great pastries and so far the best cappuccino I’ve had in a Sac!

I stopped in after a bike ride to take a break. I ordered a chai latte and my headband ordered the macchiato. The drinks came out promptly.
The chai latte was delicious (good balance of spice) and smooth.
My husband enjoyed his macchiato as well—according to him, it was robust and creamy.
This place just opened up so they seem to be working out some kinks (shortage of seating) but it’s nice to have a coffee shop with character in Fair Oaks. It reminds me of a coffee shop downtown that I used to visit.
One minor gripe—they lack a good assortment of pastries. I’m a fan of some sort of accompaniment with my drinks. I settled for a Madeleine (always a good standby), but I’d like to see a great lineup of pastries to match the quality of drinks and overall unique style of this place.

I ordered the house coffee and a blueberry muffin. Both were great. The location was clean. Good music and a chill coffee house vibe. Pause Coffee House had plenty of space for me to get my work done that day. I could see that setting up a laptop or hanging out with a few friends would be no problem regarding space.

Really cute place to work out of. Coffee and chai tea latte were great. Loved the different types of seating (table, high top, outside tables) available. Outlets weren't available everywhere so you have to be strategic about plugs if you're staying awhile.

absolutely loveeee!!! this coffee place! Great customer service aka way so easy going and so patient. I’m basically a regular at this point and I love it. Super great place to study or just catch up with a friend. It’s not dead silent but also not like Starbucks lol. Coffee is great vibe is amazing. Definitely recommend everyone to give it a go

Craft coffee shop with a modern industrial atmosphere warmed by reclaimed wood furniture and simple potted succulents. My favorite chairs are the grey soft velvet swivels with a splash of gold glam near the back wall. The baristas are friendly and care about making your cup perfect without being pretentious.
