Great atmosphere and flavorful drinks to match. The coffee variations we've tried have all been as good as the national chains with more personality. Fresh baked goods are available all day too.

My favorite local coffee shop! Fun seasonal drinks and a comfortable vibe. Their coffee is worth the slightly higher price tag. :) Nice variety of brands being sold too, and some really impressive pothos plants! 💜🌿

The best pastries I've ever tried...their almond croissant 🥐🤯...coffee is a hit or miss..I always get the same coffee (iced vanilla latte) but it ends up tasting different sometimes.

I love this place! It's my go to coffee spot. Everyone is super nice and the coffee is great! They are getting a bit more popular, so they could use some more seating inside (real bad).

I used to live downtown where there is a variety of independent coffee houses, now I live in Fair Oaks where luckily we have Pause, a nice independent shop. Pause has a nice vibe, decent coffee, and the employees are super nice. My family and I always go there and visit and catch up.

The best cold brew! And their pastries are dangerously good. The staffs customer service is genuine and very welcoming. By far my favorite coffee shop.

Great place with great coffee! It’s my go to in the area. Better than your regular Starbucks and their avocado toast is really good as well. If you’re a cold brew fan these guys have the best in Sacramento.

Great coffee, nice people, nice atmosphere. The reason for three stars? Well, I buy a lot of beans at Pause. Usually, I buy a 2lb, $40 bag of SW or Geometry. Even after I buy the bag I have to purchase my small drip. You’d think with a $45 purchase after tax you’d be gifted a small drip. Nope, just a screen asking for a 20% tip for me doing all the work of picking out my beans and walking it to the counter to pay.

I love this place so much! Delicious coffee, friendly service, and a chill atmosphere. Seating can sometimes be an issue--both with getting a seat and the stools they use--but parking is ample in the lot out front. I love the avocado toast!
