Pros: the drinks are delicious. The honey lavender latte is my favorite. Decent service and cute place, ok location.

Cons: No regard for the pandemic whatsoever and that made me take off 2 stars. At least staff should wear masks. Also their food menu is very limited and only until 12.

This is my favorite coffee shop! The coffee is seriously the best I have had. The people are super nice and hip. The inside has beautiful art from local artists and offers a cute place to chill. I love their Honey Latte. I agree with another person who left a review not pretentious at all like some coffee shops.

It's hard to find good quality coffee judging solely off google ratings. I tend to read reviews from other fellow coffee snobs since people's standards generally seem pretty low.

My boyfriend and I just moved to the Sacramento area from Chicago and have been scouting for the perfect cafe only to be left disappointed as every highly rated location's coffee was either too acidic, overly roasted beans, or burnt from hot temperatures while idling. (I understand this dilemma as I'm sure some customers expect their coffee to be hot after their weekly commute to work, but it completely destroys the quality of potentially good coffee).

One google user recommended Pause coffee rather than the coffee she disapproved of in her review. She was right. Pause coffee is perfection. We tried a sample of their drip coffee. I let my sample cool as a true test to its acidity and I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it was. It had the perfect balance of smoothness and body. I ordered the lavender latte and it was creamy but not heavy and the lavender complimented the coffee. Too often businesses will add too much sugar and syrups to compensate for their low quality coffee. Pause coffee house seems to get it.

The staff was chill, informative, and accommodating. I was bummed leaving my favorite coffee shop in Chicago, *cough-darkmatter-cough*, but
I found my new favorite here in Sac! 💕💕

Coffee is really good but a quarter of their floor space doesn't appear to be utilized which makes seating very limited. Outdoor seating after the rain was wet with no shade to keep the sun out of my eyes. Friend and I ended up taking our coffee to go.

Very happy with the taste of the coffee and the overall vibe of the shop. The staff are very friendly as well and the service is fast. Would recommend to anyone in the fair oaks area who wants a coffee shop with downtown vibes without going downtown. Only recommendation would be for the shop to expand its food menu at some point because at the moment its limited to basic pastries and donuts as far as I could tell. Either way, great coffee shop! Will definitely be returning soon.

Quality coffee with amazing flavors on brew and for sale. Decent prices compared to large chain coffee spots. This place has an interesting layout of the area. The seating is somewhat awkward for only a single person to sit comfortably. Almost all the spots were large tables or couches and chairs set up to accommodate larger groups. The lighting in the back is dark even on a sunny day, while mid afternoon the seating areas up front were all full for extended periods. Small selection of pastries. This would be a great place to bring a few friends to hang out or have a small casual business get-together.
