This is a really neat coffee spot! Very unique in decor, with a laid back atmosphere. Perfect for a study session or reading your favorite book. The coffee has excellent flavor and I definitely recommend trying some of the seasonal items.

Coffee is tasty and food is good, service friendly and informative. Given the economy and the fact so many are out of work, the price is a bit outrageous for those of us who are struggling. But if you and a friend are just looking for a place to sit n talk and have a small snack, you can share a sandwich with your coffee. I just found it interesting that a negative review showed up only after I placed my own review, it was not showing beforehand.

They are so friendly, and the Mexican mocha is to die for! I also love the cappuccino, and how they pair it up with a mint and club soda. it is a lil pricey but id say well worth it. The place can get real busy but hey, the more the merrier!

Stopped by here with a girfriend recently. I'm not from the area, so I'd never been here. What a delight! Healthy options are always a bonus for me! (Avocado toast on artisan sourdough was heaven!) Super friendly staff and the very cool community vibe made this place really shine!!

I received prompt assistance and was treated very kindly. The store has a very inviting feel and a very pretty outdoor area with trees as well. The scones we great and I appreciated the age of the building. Great spot and great location.

The shop is nice.... But I ordered an acai bowl, which I paid $8 for, & it was only half way full. The acai sorbet doesn't taste like what I've normally had before, it's honestly not even that good. Also the Granola has a cinnamon type taste to it, it doesn't compliment the bowl.
I wont be going back here.

A favorite for their breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Good adherence to safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks for letting your customers have some semblance of normalcy without worrying about exposure.

Favorite java spot. Friendly servers who make an effort to remember my name & order, plus a chill atmosphere featuring works by local artists, a fireplace, a mini-library, plenty of tables, outdoor seats & couches. Food is a bit on the pricey side but portions are generous. Best cafe in the area, by far.

Kettle is a nice coffee and tea place in Escondido. Whether you're going for breakfast, or going to study/work, you'll find it cozy as can be. The tea selection is really great. I also love their espresso, but not a huge fan of the brew. I've been coming here for just over a year, and the other day I decided to grab a latte prior to my morning clinical. I ordered at 7:40 and waited until 8:10 for my iced latte. It was apparent they were understaffed at this time, and it certainly wasn't the barista's fault as he was hustling to get everyone's drinks out. Give Kettle a shot as the atmosphere and quality is worth it, just don't bank on grabbing a quick cup of joe.
