Had to add the pancake!
Yea its historic, it looks just like when Elvis stopped in to get a 6 egg Omlette, that's it he ever stopped in. Great place to stop before or after a day hiking in the redwoods. They get 4 stars for serving me unsweet dark brewed tea in a pitcher. Had a half sandwich half salad. Not panera but the closet thing for miles around. They have big honey buns if your into that.

This is probably the best breakfast I've ever eaten in a roadside café. I ordered sausage patty, eggs over medium w/ rye toast. The sausage was fantastic. The toast was a delicious marble rye. They are busy so expect a bit of a wait for your meal. But not too long. The server was very nice. Love this place.

Blue burger was FANTASTIC! California Blonde Ale by Eel River Brewing Co. was a great recommendation! Do stop!

AAAA mazing after 2 weeks in the redwoods! I highly recommend the lobster eggs Benedict with a mango mimosa. It was fire.

Nice place, but my food was overcooked. Service was very good.

It was a busy brunch and we got great service and excellent food. I highly recommend the bananas foster French toast!

Great recipes, excellent ingredients and wonderful staff. Thanks chef! We will be sure to visit again, next time we're around, for breakfast and dinner!

Had the Mexican Pazole special as I'd never tried it before, I liked it alot overall, possibly just a tad less lime but overall great. Friendly down home family folk, great place.

Basic food done well. Big portions, but it isn't inexpensive. Friendly staff and it's all newly remodeled. Plus it's the only place for miles 🙂

We typically avoid revisiting the same restaurants while on vacation, so that we can try as much as we can. However, Hiouchi Cafe kept us coming back! We had Sunday brunch and were delighted with how fast everything came out and how tasty it was! The kitchen is open so you can see how clean everything is. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, chicken and waffles delicious and tender. We came back again for another brunch meal and they nailed it again! Best breakfast in miles.
