Colusa Casino Resort

The casino itself is rather nice and from the outside the place looks almost too fancy to even be a casino. The building is made of rock/stone and with a unique design that doesn't make it look like just your average casino. The ceilings are very high and the games are arranged in a very accessible pattern that makes it easy to see what all the slots they had available were and made me want to try several new games I had never ever seen before.

Unfortunately I lost all my money and despite spending several hundred on a wide variety of games I still was never able to get more than like 50$ ahead from whatever I put into a machine so I either went at a bad time (because it was rather late and less busy) or it's possible they just don't pay out very well on the slots in general because I have never actually managed to win a decent amount any of the times I have stopped there (I think this was our 4th time) but that's what I have come to expect from pretty much any casino these days so I still would recommend checking this place out. It's like 15 mins out from I-5 but we'll worth the drive if you ask me.

Next time I hope the restaurant's still open because the menu looks delish but we settled for the gas station instead and that alone is worth making the trip out for because they had a cute mini mart and gas station hidden behind the casino and it gas the cheapest gas I have found in the entire state of CA! And even though we got to the gas station a bit before they opened the security staff that patrols the property was surprisingly friendly with us and unlike most casinos they didn't just harass us for being out by our vehicle they did however come and check on me to make sure I was okay then they let us be. Overall a great experience even considering the unspeakable amount of money we lost to the slots.

Pretty fun upbeat place have been going here about 15 years! Lots of really amazing workers in there and few nice people to chat with as regular customers! Only get out here once a year or so; have never won anything big but 40$ lasts a couple hours to play of my own money but great/nice getaway from the kids:)

The machines weren't letting people win i don't understand how the casino is still in business.

Plenty of games. Complimentary drink station something I’ve never seen at another casino locally, big houses don’t even have that.. it’s a little bit of a drive for me personally but it’s worth it

Came in for my normal desserts, desserts have changed, no turtle pies, no parfaits, all pre-frozen desserts! This Casino has always prized itself on its fresh baking...where the heck is the baker???? If they don't bring back original desserts, then me and my entire family and our friends will not be back! If I wanted premade dessert, I'd save my money and go to Walmart. I come here specifically for the dessert. Hope the baker comes back soon!

My first time at Colusa casino 🎰 clean and well designed 👌

The motif and decor are very nice -
But it's casino adjacent.
The rooms, of course, stipulate non-smoking, but since smoking is permitted in the casino itself, the smell leaches into everything: it's gross.

The dine-in options are also surprisingly unpalatable: We ordered a basic entree and agreed that far better viands are served at your average hospital cafeteria - especially for the price.

The casino is very state of the art.
The people staffing the resort are courteous and professional.
The edifice appears impressive.
It is the other unwanted sensory intimacies that will prevent future visits.

This casino is much better than win river or rolling hill..Larger and diverse..Hidden in a location you have to find..Hotel there!.Was surprised how friendly and well taken care of it was..Off the beaten path..Worth going.quite, and I won money there..Not loaded down with people or bums begging for something..

What can I say. You either like it or not. Great fun place.

Casino floor was small and smoky and eatery very blah. The hotel next door appeared appealing from the outside and comfortable inside our room; HOWEVER, our room sprawled with crawling ANTS 🐜!!! The rep from the front desk had to come up and verify - as if we would make the insects up. He then claimed that no other rooms were available - BUT also admitted that they had an INFESTATION!! Wow! 😳
The next day, the rep at the front desk refused to refund our money and contacted a manager by phone of which she initially refused to refund as well, however, I advised her that I would not leave unless she was able to at least discount our stay, especially because they knew of the infestation 😡.
So, finally, after a few minutes of going back and forth, the Manager on the phone, agreed to discount our stay!! The audacity of the Manager to refuse a full refund considering that they knew of the situation, but accepted my reservation without disclosing of the issue!!! 🤬
This occurred in June of 2019, and unfortunately, I am only now reporting it, because I have just now calmed down and have a few minutes to spare!
