Always very kind people, Steve, Omar, the women who work there... all are always patient and calm, cool, collected.
When I didn't like the iced drink (personal preference) they remade it hot for me no problem. Love the stickers... love the idea that it proceeds go to charity... <3 love the Sanctuary

Great space! Lots of tables, indoor and outdoor, conference room in the back for rent and lots of boardgames! Ideal for an afternoon hangout!!

Such a fun place, love the vive. There was a Valentine's Day event. Selling flowers with @Avantblooms. So beautiful. Once you walk in the coffee shop. The smell of coffee fills the rooms. The yummy treats are the best. Great prices and service is amazing. A great place to study or hangout with friends.

Nice quaint space, coffee tastes good. The green tea mint latte wasn’t too sweet, wish the green tea and mint flavor were a bit stronger.

Chill coffee spot with a great selection of flavors and milk alternatives. If you're a lover of floral lattes, here's your cafe.
My only suggestions? Oatmilk (or other plant-based alternatives) should cost just as much as traditional dairy, and travel lids are an absolute must.

To start with the positives, thank you for vegan options!! Also looks like a great place for studying/getting work done. For areas for improvement the blueberry loaf was dry and mediocre especially for the price. Only almond milk available for nondairy, and latte ended up being more of an americano topped with a splash of almond milk. Unfortunately the taste was nothing special either.

Great coffee, cheapskate owner
Met my bff at this coffee shop, she drives from Altadena, I drive from Lake Arrowhead. This was our 2nd time here. Coffee is delicious, if expensive, ($6.50 for a 12oz dirty chai latte is too much) store is clean and nice, staff is very friendly. Sadlly, at 1015am it was 79° and stuffy inside and though the doors were open, there was no A/C on and no air moving. Definitely not conducive to sipping hot coffee with friends. I asked the staff politely if they'd please turn on the A/C. They said the owner usually does it when he arrives. By time he finally arrived, maybe 1045 or 11, it was 81 inside. I asked him politely if he'd please turn on the A/C. He gave me a face and a complaint-like sound and said "well"... and that was it. He never turned it on and we left about 1130am, sticky and sweaty and it was 82° inside. Guess customer service isnt that important to him. We're going to find a new coffee shop.

Sanctuary coffee is kind of a trip. You want to like it but, it also makes you wonder. For instance I know they donate all their stuff back to things that need it but their place is really sparkly shiny and someone invested a lot of money in it. I find that places that you invest a whole lot of money is done for a whole lot of reason, and not usually the reason people state. Having said that, I drank their matcha which, to be honest, was kind of like drinking dishwater. I then tried a coffee drink, and it was mediocre at best. So, it's a place you want to like but one shouldn't strive too high with a place like this. It does look like it's good for schooling, I mean students and they've got lots of games and things like this. Someone thought this out and I give props to that; the staff are friendly and it seems like a great place but one shouldn't come away with an elitist feeling that you're making the world a better place by going there, that's all I mean.
