Sanctuary Coffee

Love the atmosphere here. Im a big tea person but I'm not too big a fan of their teas. It's a nice idea to try unconventional mixtures for tea but I think the issue is they either taste syrupey or watered down. A good tea has to be brewed IMO.

Centrally located between ULV and Claremont Colleges. It's a church-run coffee house that has great space for studying and groups. The coffee is good and the other drinks are tasty as well (says my wife). They seem to be service-oriented as they donate 20#s food for 1# of coffee. It's a great place, idea, and outreach.

I am so glad the Lord, in His providence, brought me here. I have been looking for a great place to spend hours doing work and studying and I have finally found it! Super chill staff, awesome coffee/pastries, and a wonderful ambiance! Stop by if you have the opportunity. You will be glad you did! :)

Luke-warm and tasted watered down. Very slow service, although the guy at the checkout was great! The guy making the drinks was distracted by conversation with a customer and it took way too long to get our drinks made.

It was phenomenal to finally experience the love and magical care of this place. Sustainable, built with community in mind, simple, and the coffee is better than Starbucks. I should know as a recovering adrenaline addict/colombian export expert. I will be watching this space with focus and participatory vigor. Great coffee, but I get a feeling while there that I am not their preferred clientele. I've been in with my wife and it is awkward. Will probably keep to other local shops.

Wonderful spot. Coffee was fresh, not a bit bitter, full flavored. The space is large, decorated with vintage items, very welcoming. Plan on visiting a lot.

Awesome selection of coffees, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Got to try the Carmel Turtle Latte...hot or cold...winner!
