This is a great coffee shop with a great mission (donations go to support charities who are on the front lines of social concerns). The brewed coffee is good. The indoor seating has several different options. There are several tables both larger and smaller for getting work done. There is a comfy area with a couple of couches and a coffee table. There is an elevated steps area with cushions for reading. And there is a conference room with glass walls that can be reserved.
It was fairly busy when I visited on a Wed around 10am. Most of the seating was occupied, so I sat on the stepped platform for awhile and then moved to one of the couches.
Cool vibe with a great collection of people. Friendly staff too.
It was cold outside, so I didn't have an opportunity to try out the patio, but it's not super cute anyway and borders the parking lot. I think the indoor space is the place to be.
I highly recommend stopping by this coffee sanctuary ... cause it truly is. :)

the atmosphere here was great and we quickly picked up on it while we were ordering. we did get their hot creme brulee flavored coffee but they were out of oat milk which was fine. i noticed at a quick glance that there were signs showing that this coffee shop supports different non profit organizations and had availability to donate to that charity. there were a ton of students inside with laptops and a cool space available to rent for meetings which was different from other locations. there is also a patio available to the community who want to sip in the fresh air outside.

Excellent coffee! Friendly baristas! And an excellent place to sit back and read, study, or just enjoy the ambiance. I love their selection of coffees and they serve pour overs πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ. I live in Ontario so it should be a little far for a cup of coffee but well worth the drive and time.

After seeing the reviews of this place, I was excited to go for myself and try the coffee. Unfortunately, I was met with nothing but disappointment. After walking in and waiting by the counter to give my order, the employee that was in the front ignored me for quite a while. Not making any other coffees, but what seemed to be counting money. After having another employee ask if my order was taken, I said no, and only then did the first employee decided to take my order begrudgingly.

If that was it, then I wouldn't have written this review; however, it only got worse. The employee was rude and condescending. Once I said what I wanted, he made fun of my order and made judging remarks towards my choices. Even making a jab at if I wanted oat milk with it as well, which I did, I am lactose intolerant.

That was when I changed my mind and walked out the door and decided to never come back.

Pretty pleased with sanctuary coffee, stopped in there today on my way to an appointment and had no idea this cute place was right in Claremont. Coffee was delicious too. Had the Carmel turtle I think it was called? Coffee was smooth it was nice. Zucchini bread was good. Wondered if it was made with applesauce lol. M&M cookie was 10/10. Fair prices & Good vibes

The new space is absolutely gorgeous. I love the seating options outside and they have great comfy options inside (including a stadium seating area with big poufs). I am looking forward to using the private conference room for a meeting. Also I'd recommend the lavender latte!

The place, the staff and the vibe are really good and it feels great to be there to do work on your laptop. However, the quality of the coffee is pretty bad and you can tell it is cheap. It would be the best place in the area if their coffee quality was as good as everything else.

Thirty minutes for a cup of coffee? I get being short staffed but today was absolutely maddening.

First visit. I was excited to go because of all the reviews. I was seriously let down.

Great coffee, nice vibes. Seating for individuals, small work groups, cozy gathering spaces and an enclosed meeting room.

High quality coffee and loose leaf tea, made to order. People are super nice and the space is beautiful with artwork, couches, tables and an outdoor patio. Selection of tarts, scones, and bagels. The owner, Steve, says all profits go to local charities which make me happy!
