Loved the Mushroom truffle Pizza and the fish tacos.

Consistently good. Cozy outdoor area. Pizzas are amazing - and some very creative, like sweet potato duck confit?! Mushroom pizza is a favorite and pear salad - yum. Great service and reasonably priced. We come often and are never disappointed.

I loved the pizza! It was thin crusted, fresh ingrediants and 1/2 price for Happy Hour; it was a fabulous value. I asked my server for a suggestion for a glass of wine and was overwhelmed with their cab franc. It went so well with the pizza! So the wine was a delight, the pizza was perfect, and if I understand correctly, the wine is their own winery/brand. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the cheese platter and was told 20 minutes. I came after waiting to pick it up and they told me there was a mix up with the tag and they we’re starting it right away which was no problem to me, mistakes happen. I waited another 20 until someone decided they should check on my order only to discover it was sitting on the bar for the last 15 minutes and no one bothered to check where it went. After they found it they never admitted fault or offered me a discount or any compensation. I then opened the cheese platter to discover an extremely underwhelming platter of cheese I could put together myself with less time and a trip to Safeway. Very very dissastifeid….

We had high hopes for the Corkscrew and it did fall just slightly short. The restaurant itself was very nice and had a great aesthetic appeal. It has the look of an old winery mixed with the “reclaimed” look that’s so popular these days. Service was fair but nothing that blew us away. We each ordered a different pizza, and while not bad, definitely nothing to write home about. They both lacked flavor and probably could have used a little more seasoning or salt.
Overall, not the worst but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit it, especially in an area with so many great eateries.

Great atmosphere, bland food. We ordered ceasar salad, fish tacos and a pizza. I could easily make better food at home. We drove 45 minutes to have a great dinner and found ourselves very disappointed with the food. We will not return.

We have been a frequent patron of Corkscrew over the past 5 years. Always our first stop after arriving in Carmel. What was a 5 star experience before today, now has to be downgraded due to the counter service only experience. The food hasn’t changed. . . . Still excellent, but having to place your order at the counter, get your own water and tea refills, silverware, to-go boxes, has changed this relaxed premier courtyard dining experience to an order-up deli style cafe. It is not an optimal pacing of food service when ordering an appetizer and entree. While we love the latest mariachi music at a our favorite Mexican restaurant, we did not expect it here. The change is confusing and takes away from the overall experience. We hope that Corkscrew will return to its roots.

We needed a quick bite after a long day of travel and this was great. Fast and friendly service. Good food. Kid friendly. They were also very accommodating with our dietary requirements. Only negative feedback would be to allow the whole menu for carry out. Currently only pizza and salad can be ordered to go.

I had the beet salad and it was wonderful. My hubby had a burger abmnd he said it was just ok. He is very picky.
