Peet's Coffee

I have lived in San Jose for 18 years and we are going to have lunch at Pruneyard and we stay for coffee and work online. This cafeteria is large, right in the center of the shopping center, surrounded by restaurants, it has tables inside and - my favorites - 5 outdoor tables, each one with its umbrella for the summer days. There is a wide variety of cold drinks, coffees, small bites and pastries. I recommend the Caramel macchiato Coffee. The staff is very professional and helpful.
I love supporting small or medium businesses, run by families, I prefer them to large franchises but I make exceptions. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing time.

Pros: spacious indoor, a little cozy corridor with 2-3 tables is a nice seating area
Cons: while the store is surrounded by window walls, they are all dusty and you can see all dirt and spots

Best place to work during a weekend afternoon. Good sunshine indoor and outdoor. Cozy environment and friendly stuff. Parking in the front is limited. More parking lots in the back.

Perfectly place next to our Doubletree hotel that we stayed at for the night. Very clean coffee shop with delicious hot sandwiches that may not be super healthy but tasted very good.

Great service and quite empty for a new space. I got my 2 drinks quick and was happy and the shop is very nicely designed inside and outside.

I can't believe the mall renovation involves putting a road right through the center of the mall. This is the worst design choice ever. Walkway I understand but road? Why?!

This is my favorite Peet's coffee location in the south bay. Great consistency with drinks and nice location.

A nicely decorated coffee shop with inside and outside seats. I liked their soy latte - strong flavor.
Their customer service was impressive - today their credit card system somehow got down when people were waiting in line and they took care of everyone’s order who didn’t bring cash. They showed how much they care about their customers. 👍

I have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Peet’s at the Pruneyard. Now that it’s open...the experience has exceeded my expectations!! I’m really enjoying the golden drinks, especially the golden latte. The drink presentation is always beautiful and the taste is amazing. The customer service is top notch. I could sit there for hours with my latte in the beautiful seating area. Come check it out!

I only had the chai tea latte with soy milk. It was okay. Next time I will see about asking for more chai to be put in my drink.

Pro Tip: go around the corner to Tin Pot and get a small vanilla scoop, then come here and get a shot of espresso to pour on top... Affogato! so good . The spoons in Peet's are more robust than what Tin Pot offers. Tin Pot spoons break if you're too ambitious with your ice cream portion. Peet's spoons can handle it.
