Super disappointing experience there today. There was a sign on the front counter for "vegetable poblano soup (vegan) with toasted croissant" and when I asked if that was their only vegan soup, they said it wasn't vegan. I pointed out that it says vegan right on the sign and they told me it has chicken. I asked if they had vegan sandwiches and they said no (they were sold out of most things). I asked about the chickpea salad and they said they didn't have that either. I asked what vegan options they had and they said a cupcake or a scone, so I didn't end up buying anything.
I don't mind that they were busy and sold out of most things, but it bothered me that their sign said the soup was vegan when it was not even vegetarian, and even after I pointed that out, they just left the sign and never apologized. I'm very glad that I didn't just order the soup assuming it was correctly labeled.

The place is definitely cute and centrally located. BUT that’s all it has going. Guys, they couldn’t even make a hot chocolate, they had no whipped cream and no chocolate. And they didn’t even tell me, instead, they just gave me steamed milk and when I said this isn’t hot chocolate…they gave me attitude. I swear I thought I was in the twilight zone. I highly recommend you stay away from this place. Get coffee at the local diners.

Dave was the friendliest, best barista with only the best of everything coffee 😁 Excellent place, fast and friendly service, good coffee, astoundingly good pistachio cupcakes!

They have lovely outdoor seating and have a handful of gluten free options! Was not crazy over the cider or the Grey Fog Latte, but sounds like their coffee based drinks are great!

The coffee cups are very cheap. They get soggy and collapse after a few minutes. I ordered a latte and an americano. Both drinks were lacking in esspresso flavor. I have no head buzz like I normally do when I drink coffee. Maybe the beans are old? I should have went to Starbucks.
The staff was very polite and got drinks out quick. This place has some cute nic nacs for sale

I love this place. i come here every time i come up to big bear. On this occasion tho there was a long wait. the line was out door. i noticed that two workers were working at a very chill pace. in fact they were flirting with each other. as if the line wasn't long at all. maybe service would've been fast if they weren't. (pink haired girl with glasses and short brown haired boy with glasses)

I don't mind slow service in Big Bear, I come here all year round and understand their difficulties with finding help. This place served me average coffee extremely rudely. Slow I can handle, rude makes me never want to return. Just not worth the time and effort. Going to drive to Moonridge next time.

It seems the young staff they employ may be over worked. I have been here a couple times before and they seems to be out of most food and food display was unkempt. Granted it was early Sunday evening on what seemed to be a busy weekend. Waited 10 mins for a coffee that I was told someone else took. It took so long to get a coffee a person around me requested a refund. Other reviews seem to say the same thing

Service and coffee knowledge could be better. I had question about the menu and the server seemed annoyed that I was asking questions. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and I got a cup full of milk. Didn’t taste like it had any espresso at all.

Beware! This place is not staffed enough for holidays. Visited this place the day after the 4th of July and waited in a very long line to be told we were limited per purchase on the items we could order. I wanted to get two egg quiche for myself and my daughter and they would only allow me to get one. Yet they allowed someone else just ahead of me to order like 15 breakfast burritos. Was very disappointed I wasn’t able to order the things I was wanting after waiting in a very long line. They only had one cook who was hustling and made delicious. It was just very disheartening that I was not able to order enough food for my family. The lone woman cook would also shout out the back patio when your order is ready. It was hard to hear her shouting from inside of the building. The food is good they just are not prepared to have enough food after a holiday.
