Tony's Firehouse Grill and Pizza

Overall, we enjoyed our lunch. Mine would have been better if my taco salad ground beef had a taco seasoning instead of over cooked ground beef. Service was good and our food arrived in a timely manner.

Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Bilingual staff. Great food. Large portions. We ordered pizza, lasagna, onion rings. I recommend the pizza & onion rings were delicious. I shared my meal with someone else because it's large portions.

I'm so happy that we finally got a really great restaurant on the East side of Bakersfield. Great choices on the menu, pizza is delicious, breakfasts are fantastic, and large groups are easily accommodated. Service is good and the atmosphere is very nice. One side of the restaurant is geared towards families with children, with lots of games. The other side is quieter, with plenty of space between the tables.

Great avocado chicken burger! Very nice and efficient waitress. Clean and great sports bar atmosphere. Food came quickly. Only wish is if they made fresh macaroni and potato salads and fries. Horrible container salads and frozen fries. They weren't quite thawed. But, they gave us a to go box of hot fries. That would make their rating a 5

The only reason I've given them 2 stars is because their pizza is delicious
...BUT when I went to get a "large pepperoni pizza" they gave me a "large cheese pizza" @ $17, and charged me for all 5 toppings @ $3 a pop. That's $15 in toppings. That's a $32 pizza! Ridiculous.

I can understand paying extra for extra toppings.. but never $15 worth, I'd just forgo the extra. Otherwise the staff is nice, place is clean, and food is good... just be weary of how you place your order and what exactly they are charging you for.

Went last night walked in and got seated right away. Sat at the table for 35-40 minutes and never did anyone come ask us what we wanted to drink or what we would like to order. An elderly couple seated next to us was there before us and the lady ended up Raising her hand just to get them to bring her a glass of water. We figured after 35-40 minutes they weren't going to come so we left. Pretty bumbed out because we wanted to give it a try.

Pros: Great pizza, cold beer, wide array of items on the menu. Weve been here at least 20 times, only had one bad experience in all those visits. Management went out of their way to remedy the situation. Friendly staff... Cons: can get pretty loud when its really busy, and occasionally some of the arcade games are out of order.. Way more good, than bad...

I shouldn’t have to pick apart the whole takeout meal to make sure it was done correctly. I specified RARE burger. I would have ordered something else, but the wait staff assured me it would be rare. It was well done. This was a waste of my money because I was getting it as part of an athletic training recovery plan, which requires RARE meat. I ordered my hot wings with blue cheese dressing. There was no blue cheese, and the wings were undercooked. The burger and sweet potato fries came without sauce, which was a lovely surprise when I got back to my campsite and got to choke down a $13.50 dry piece of cardboard. The fries are frozen ruffles, btw. Lastly, though I ordered ahead, it took over ten minutes from walking through the door before I got my food. There was no line. I walked right up and there was someone at the register. They are just that unorganized and slow.

Poor service. Received entree with appetizer, had to ask server for soup after entree. Came back the next morning because owner promised better service, we waited 40 minutes for cold incomplete breakfast. 2 years later and the service is still lacking. This could be a really good spot if the managment or owners cared what kind of service their customers are receiving.

Pizza is gas station quality.
They have to start a tab to have dinner, who does that? Don't go for the service or food.
Don't expect a refill on your drink either
