The food was very good, as well as the plating and presentation. This place seems to be a favorite with the locals, and for good reason.
The service was friendly and efficient.
I had the Monte Chisto.

This is a very nice place to eat breakfast or lunch at. They do get busy at times due to great food, friendly staff and a clean restaurant.
I ordered their breakfast enchiladas, they are chili verde, eggs, cheese rolled into corn tortillas. They are very good. Way more than I could eat, big enough to share.
Allison was my waitress and she was very professional and attentive, she did a great job.

The food was great! Everything tasted delicious. The portions are really big as well. We ordered the chicken fried steak with country potatoes, it also came with a biscuit and gravy. We also ordered the swedish pancake breakfast w/strawberries. It came with two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, and country potatoes. You can't beat their prices. Our waitress was on it, checking up on us constantly to make sure everything was okay. Will definitely be back.

The service was excellent & the food was great. Got seated right away, the server was very attentive. Food was brought out in a timely manner and it was really good. Definitely gonna be returning either for breakfast again or possibly try out their lunch.

Amazing place with a really good experience staff attention. Delicious food and I really enjoyed they famous strawberry sliced syrup, yummy. I am very happy to have found this place to enjoy my meal in peace in this crazy situation of the covid-19 that is making everyone scared, but not here in Bakersfield, Ca, where everyone is welcoming and positive and will not accept this situation. Los Angeles should lift its head and do the same. Thank You for having me.

The employees are happy, the food is tasty, and the service is top-notch! If you order the hamburger steak with eggs, they will smother the meat with grilled onions, which is a personal favorite!!

Very good Joe's special omelette, perhaps better than at Original Joe's in SF. Good service and fairly priced for what you get. Nice stop on an LA to SF road trip. Worth driving a little way off the freeway

Had Santa Barbara omlette and it tasted amazing! It was truly a happy meal in a cozy restaurant. Parking was easy and service was excellent~

Yummy....had grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of chili. Perfect for a cold winter day. Spencer's was good, service was awesome 👌

This is a home owned dennys with very slightly better food. Everyone was very very friendly but not the best serving. We had to make our own burger and I ordered potato salad instead of fries. Before I got checked on my burger was done and I was done caring about the potato salad. It was just eh.... mediocre and a little pricy for the quality.
