Finnish Country Sauna & Tubs

It may be the only spot to rent a tub for a half-hour or more in the area, but even if it weren't, I would only go there. The ambiance is both endearing and relaxing, and the tubs are so very soothing.

A little oasis of calm and serenity 💞 staff are so friendly, chai is delish and the grounds are amazing! The bath houses are clean and the water was glorious! We even found 2 four leaf clovers!! Highly recommend! Book a half hour in the tubs and a half hour in the sauna if you want both on your visit!!!! Will be back asap!

We made a reservation and when we arrived they did not have it. We were trying to get through took like 30 times to get through and then they did not bother to write it down!!! Would give 0 stars if possible! We came from fortuna just for this and then we were not even able to enjoy it!

This place is incredible. Affordable, community oriented and provides a truly transformative experience. Noting here (because I wasn’t aware when I booked) that if you would like to have time to shower afterwards, make sure you either start showering well before your hot tub time is up, or book another sauna appt. afterwards. The sauna has a private shower in the dressing room which can be used for 30 minutes after your timeslot, but the hot tubs do not. Be well!

One of the sleeper hits of a 7 week road trip across America came in the delightful form of Cafe Makka, a coffe shop and most importantly private hot tub and sauna facility. Discovered on accident as we drove out of Eureka and saw a random billboard advertising private hot tubs, it was a no-brainer as our bodies were very sore from the driving, hiking and camping we’d been doing for weeks on end. After a slight bout of confusion finding the place, it has a low key appearance and the GPS was thrown off by exact location, we hesitantly made our way in and we were treated royally to a list of their services by the friendly staff. Before we knew it we had our own private hot tub and space next to an enormous tree. Being totally secluded in the rustic setting added to the pleasurable soak we undertook for a half an hour. Total bliss and totally recommended.

This place was not only the most magical looking green oasis but it was also so peaceful, relaxing, and clean, with some of the friendliest staff. They were able to squeeze me in for a quick 30 minute soak and it was just what I needed in the middle of my long solo road trip down the PCH. Thank you so much!

It took me 25 years worth of time spent up here before I FINALLY went, but my goodness the wait made it all the more amazing. Killer setting, great price, and just what the Soul needs to reset.

For a short warm up it is Google. But no relaxing quality, you can notwendig ist outside to cool down between two Sauna visits, the garden ist nice, if you are not afraid to do it with a bath towel sourrounded from people who ate visiting the cafe.

Wonderful atmosphere, even if you’re just grabbing a coffee and reading a book either in their enchanting parlor or the scenic outdoor seating. The hot tubs are amazing! We have yet to try the sauna’s, but look forward to it in a future visit.
