Their nutty buddy is delicious and so are the pastries they have . I don’t know her name but the cashier was sweet and nice and had good picks for recommendations

I have been going the Grind Coffee House for a few months. When I was there, I always sat back, enjoyed my frappes, kept to myself and bothered nobody. One day, I sat in my chair and waited for my frappe. The lady with the red curly hair walked up to me, handed me my drink, then told me in front of all the costumers that I cannot come here anymore. She said that costumers were making complaints that I made them uncomfortable. I asked her what I did to make them uncomfortable and she said that I was moving funny, talking funny and looking at them funny. I explained to her that I have Tourette syndrome. It’s a neurological disability that causes me to make these involuntary movements, voices and gestures. With no expression of empathy, she told me that I had to go. Having been told this in front of the costumers, I found the experience humiliating and disheartening. I have been too many coffee shops all over the country and have never felt so degraded like this. I’ve always thought of the coffee shop community as a place that embraces equality, acceptance and tolerance towards people with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, disabilities, ECT. Apparently, that’s not the case with the people of Apple Valley, California and certainly not with the people of The Grind House Coffee shop. I am writing this review so that anybody out there who may have Tourette syndrome or other such disabilities, who wants to find a coffee shop with staff and costumers who would be understanding, accepting and welcoming of you, I find it highly unlikely that you will find that at The Grind Coffee House in Apple Valley, CA. Hopefully you will skip pass this area and not experience the rejection, humiliation and hurt that I experienced.

Absolutely love this spot. They have a variety of different coffee based drinks. They have multiple sugar free syrups, and if you dont like coffee- they have hot chocolate and cinnamon apple cider

I go to The Grind after looking at the hours on Google and it says they are open until 9 on a Sunday. I go around 8 and they were not open. I was disappointed, but not upset. I wanted to call to let them know this and ask to speak with a manager. A lady named Erin answered and I explained the situation. I previously called and got hung up on twice. I explained this and how it's not good customer service. Her words were, "I don't know what to tell you. We were busy and the phone kept ringing." From now on I will take my business elsewhere. Costumer service should be a priority and is obviously not one here. Starbucks, Six Beans, or Tonyan will be receiving my business from now on.

Love the Seattle freeze!! I will make a trip just for this fantastic drink and this great little coffee shop. Always friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Excellent coffee and service! We always stop here when we're in the area instead of stopping by chain coffee houses!

Best coffee spot in town!

Very nice coffee shop. I'm very sad to come in with a lot of the Christian material taken down. I was very happy and grateful to have such a thing and miss it dearly.

My brother came up from Irvine to spend time with my family. We went out for coffee and choose to go to The Grind in Apple Valley.
When we purchased our coffee they asked if we wanted a receipt and we said no and sat outside. My brother then was trying to log onto their Wi-Fi and needed a password. He asked Jessika for the Wi-Fi password and she told him it was on the receipt. He said he didn't get a receipt and she told him that he had to wait in line (10 minute wait).
It is rude to make a customer who already paid have to wait in a 10 minute line to get the Wi-Fi password. She could have easily printed a receipt for him.
This is my second bad experience with The Grind. About 6 months ago my brother in law and I came here and we ordered a large cold coffee. They said they didn't have any large lids and e said that's okay we don't need a lid. They said they weren't allowed to sell it to us because they had to put a lid on it. Understandable if it was a hot coffee, but seriously?... It was a child coffee.

I normally come here to get my coffee
I’m giving it 2 stars because Courtney and Taylor
were extremely rude. You don’t rush your guest to get their orders, it’s not like you have a huge line waiting. Taylor was just rushing and was slamming the blender. At the end when she gave me my coffee she just put them in the table next to me giving me a dirty face and walked away saying nothing.
Not coming back
