A fun place to eat with a laid back, casual, no fuss no muss feel. Seat yourself and get ready to fill up your tummy because the portions are big. Save some room for the pie though, you won't want to miss it.

Just popped in for a quick bite and coffee as we were driving by on Hwy 260. What a great idea! Best breakfast ever served up super fast. Wonderful place! Hope to come back some day.

Old school cafe feel. Everything came quick and was very tasty. Coffee was outstanding. Bring cash to avoid the card surcharge.

Excellent food and service. Enough hash browns to choke a horse. Thick, tasty bacon. Good waffle.

Stopped for lunch. The servers were friendly and helpful. Service was reasonably quick. I had a Ruben sandwich. It was good accept the meat was a little tough. Everything was flavorful. The French fries were OUTSTANDING!!

Holy schmoly! That omelette though…go big or go home! It was literally the best breakfast ever. Even those sausages are huge. This place is on my list of most favs now.

Great atmosphere, waitress was professional and attentive. I had heard stories of the biscuits. So was a bit disappointed that they were what I expected. Other than that good 👍

Great food, me and a buddy always like to eat out at a small business owned restaurant, to help out local businesses.
Sorry no photos, we're hungry but the burger with mushrooms, grilled onions & onion rings really good

I was there yesterday. Server was very pleasant, chef was out to lunch (figuratively), but not at 260. My chicken fried steak had more batter x4 than it had meat, and the meat was like cardboard. I believe it was an old piece that was previously cooked, went unused, then was re-dipped in batter and fried again for lucky me. That would explain the excess batter and cardboard meat. The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect! The veggies were overcooked and contained poison (to me). Who puts mushrooms in with a chicken fried steak meal? I know if I went to the Asian Bistro I'd have to say "no on mushrooms," and at 260 they weren't mentioned as coming with the chicken fried steak, and it's not customary with that dish. Maybe he felt guilty about the ultra-thin and old meat and threw in the "rooms"? I won't be back, ever, for anything...that was too big a fail. IMHO, there are some things you don't need to experience twice to know you've selected the wrong place.

This my absolutely favorite breakfast spot in Payson, maybe all of Arizona actually. We stop here often - usually during motorcycles rides from the Valley to beat the heat.
Don’t let the rustic exterior fool you, this place is a gem. Great people, great coffee, great food.
Skip the chain restaurant and shop local - you’ll be glad you did.
