Excellent experience! They have all the average foods and some great unique menu items! Portions are large at good prices. Friendly and fast service with a smile! Thanks so much!

Excellent experience. Wonderful friendly staff. They had toys for the kids to play with while you wait on food. Excellent prices. Great diner food. The little one had the bear pancake (only $2!) With a sausage (50¢) and the side of fresh fruit ($2.50). I had an awesome country fried steak with hash browns and eggs and a biscuit with gravy for only$10.
No complaints. I would come again

Great breakfast, carnitas pork omelet, crispy hashbrowns and sour dough toast. Enough for my husband and I to share. The waitresses were friendly and took great care of us. The restaurant was clean.
We will be back!!

We drive back to Phoenix often from Rim Country and we have always wanted to stop at the Cafe but we never have until TODAY. The waitress was amazing and so kind. Very kid friendly, there was a cart of toys my boys grabbed on the way in while waiting for our food. The food was really good but their French fries were the BEST! I definitely recommend making a stop to the Cafe no matter whether you live close to Payson or just passing through.

Service and food were both great!

Waitresses were very nice but the food was not great. The carnitas omelette was good. My husband ordered a Philly omelette with no mushrooms. They messed it up, the waitress caught it and asked the cook to fix it. He did not remove all the mushrooms and gave it to us. The hash Browns were not cooked in the center. The biscuits and gravy were nothing to brag about. Maybe it was just the cook that day but I was very disappointed.

It is the first time I ve ever eaten at this cafe on a Saturday cuz I'm local and lived here for over 7 years.
And it's always been the best food and service I receive except for ...this past saturday.
I realize that there is a shortage of reaturant workers due to how everything keeps being blamed on cov id.
But my experience was one person asked me for drinks never recd
the second person asked me for drinks and I recd them
the third person person took my order
a fourth person delivered my order but not entirely and no one ever checked on us
And our condiments and sides we ordered went to tables that we requested
When we were ready to leave we shared what happened and we were offered a piece of pie
Not sure of the waitresses name but havent seen here before she is young blonde and focuses more on filling up maple syrup containers than interacting with the customers she waits on

Very friendly, down home café with fresh pies daily.
Ambience is not great with tables, seats, and most everything quite worn, but the food is always pretty good.

This is what diner breakfast is supposed to be. Comfortable fun atmosphere. Nice server with a warm smile. Fantastic food in perfect portion size (not the overwhelming slop you often see) and surprisingly thoughtful plating. Hash browns and pancakes were amazing. Perfect over easy eggs. Good coffee too.

I ordered breakfast burrito (all 3 meats), corn beef Hash, hashbrowns, and a side of chorizo. All of it was delicious! The stand out was the chorizo which is hard to find all greasy. Not only was the food great but the service and price where outstanding. I will be back to enjoy this establishment.
