The Human Bean

Fantastic and personal customer service paired with delicious coffee! I had a coupon for this location and I had yet to check out The Human Bean (even though it's on my way to work). I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by two baristas who listened to my preferences and created a delicious chocolate granita (not as sweet as the Starbucks version). The owner came out to greet me and personally invite me back. Between the immediate service, friendly staff, excellent coffee, and caring owner I will certainly be a returning customer. Check them out! And it looks like they have a lot of flavor options (which is a little unclear on the main website). I suggest asking the baristas their recommendations.

Been enjoying coffee here for a couple years now. Seems like lately the service has declined as far as quality. Maybe the employees need trained how to be consistent.

AMAZING experience with this coffee shop. It's a little pricey, but.. superb customer service, the 20oz comes with four shots of espresso, and they have a giant selection of options for both flavors and non-dairy milks (100% recommend the macademia-nut milk).

My last experience there was the best customer service I've ever had. The guy at the window was so nice. I asked for a latte but forgot to specify iced so it was made hot (completely understandable- lattes are pretty much default hot unless said otherwise) and when he went to hand it to me I said "oh man I thought it was going to be iced" but I was going to take it anyways. I felt really bad because there was a car behind me in line but he wanted me to leave happily with exactly the drink I wanted. Another worker walked over to the other car to get started on them so they wouldn't have to wait. Even though he had no obligation to do that, he did it with a smile.

It was a good visit, friendly people, the order was right and it was good

I got an iced 20 Oz vanilla latte, but when I got it, there was hardly any ice and I couldn’t taste any vanilla. The flavor of the espresso wasn’t bad, but when you order a vanilla latte, you expect to taste the vanilla. My friend got a blended white mocha and it didn’t taste anything like a white mocha, but was better than my drink. They have super friendly baristas, but the coffee didn’t really hit the spot like I was expecting.

I can't believe I just now finally tried this coffee shop! I have driven by countless times and always meant to stop in to give it a try. This place is great!! I had the French Dark Roast with cream and it came with a dessert expresso bean. It was very good and reasonably priced compared to a lot of other places. The staff are super friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place!!

The best coffee in Mesa! Granitas are the best, and their chocolate coffee beans are addictive. Staff is awesome … they love dogs and always have a treat for them!

Cashier's are super friendly and the drinks are really good and come with a chocolate covered espresso bean.

The customer service was great! But what would be more great is if my coffee wasn't just straight melted ice! Less talking more working. Customer service isn't worth anything if the product you are being given isnt up to standards!

These ladies are always so kind and pleasant to chat with. they have their hair back also, so I don't need to worry about having any hair in my drink. I very much appreciate that.
