I USED TO be a loyal customer at this location for the past two years, until today when the man who I believe is the owner treated me incredibly disrespectfully and rudely.
I came in around 1:30pm and the woman working took my order. I sat down and drank my coffee while working for 20 minutes. At this point, my friend arrived to meet me. I went outside and was gone for three minutes at most. We then went to walk inside and sit before our nail appointment and my friend had an outside beverage with her.. in which the man aggressively and loudly shouts at us as we walk in "are you ordering something? No outside drinks." I politely explained that I had just ordered a drink (which I finished thus didn't have the cup) and he says "that doesn't look like a cup we serve here" to my friend. I then turned to the woman working who made my order and said "i literally just finished it and walked outside briefly. Ask her" -- while she did agree, they very rudely asked us to leave.
Since we had about 10 minutes until our appointment, we sat at the table outside in the shade since it's 100 degrees out and I'm pregnant, in which the woman must have then been told by the owner to make us leave because she came outside and aggressively said "this is also our table with your outside beverage and you can't sit here."
I have spent an unnecessary amount of money at this coffee shop over the past couple years and while I understand my friend had an outside beverage, I was indeed a paying customer and if that is the rule, there is still a way to talk to people and not accuse them of not buying a beverage. This was my last visit to coffee rush.
By the way, there were about two people in the overall coffee shop so it's not like we were taking up needed space. Maybe there would have been more people if the owner wasn't so rude.

A few of my friends were telling me how great this place is, so I finally went and checked it out. They were right! Friendly staff, great customer service, and great coffee, which came at a very good price!! I'll definitely return!

I've been coming to the Val Vista location for over a year. There are a few rude barista but for the past few months there had been a great barista there every Wednesday. Well, today the bad barista was back. I sat down to wait for my friend since I was on a phone call. This barista came over and told me I had to order before sitting down and if I didn't do so I had to leave. Customer service here is terrible, for the most part. There is another review about the owner telling a lady and her friend to leave because one of them did not buy her drink there. I was there that day. I saw them come out with a drink, go a few doors down to another shop and then come back just to get kicked out. I will never go back here. They are never so busy to kick people out. It would be a different thing if they needed people to leave to make room for more paying customers, but they don't.

This is a nice place to go for a refresher, to work or study and meet friends for coffee. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and comfortable. It’s on my top 3 coffee shops in area.

They only serve baklava, this is America... We want cake, cookies, and brownies to go with our coffee and teas. But the ambience and largemouth bass eating is good to chat with a friend.

I've come to this coffee shop every day for the last two weeks. Usually people are very nice and friendly. This morning the employee must have been in a rush even though there was only one person behind my husband and I bc we were skipped to take the other person's $. I'm not going to order while you're still ringing up the last person that's just rude to them and horrible customer service. We will never be back.
