Macy's European Coffeehouse & Bakery

This, my friends, is it. I live in BC, Canada and have spent the last 5 winters driving up and down the west coast to San Diego to avoid the snow. During that time I decided to try and find somewhere that matched the awesome coffee shop I have at home, The Bean Scene. Several have come close, a couple in Portland for example, but no-one matched Kelowna’s Bean Scene until today. Great, great coffee - both in store and beans to take away - and the bonus was lovely service too. My search is not over, but the goal has been completed. Wonderful stuff from Macy’s.

A Flagstaff landmark that continues to innovate. In addition to making great coffee drinks, they constantly offer new and different bakery items, even offering gluten free options. I never get tired of Macy's.

Coffee is 95% milk, so no bueno. Sweets are nice and affordable. Pretty expensive place. But, nice ambient.

Iced mocha was delicious! There was chcolate in the bottom and chocolate powder on the top. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of vegan treats, if that's your thing!

The best coffee that I've found in town. Great vibe. Friendly people. Love this spot.

Me and My son were told that Macy's is the best place in town to have a nice freshly brewed coffee, so we hit the road and visited the place and it was 100% great coffee
In addition we took Macy’s Waffles with fresh fruits just felt as if we are in Europe
Although the place was packed, the service was fast and friendly
If you ever plan on visiting Flagstaff then you must stop by Macy's.

Super cute, laid back, vegan-friendly cafe- you can tell it's a favorite because it's so busy! For us, the chill, first-come-first-serve tables and outdoor seating was no problem, as other patrons were considerate of how much time they spent using the space. The coffee was delicious, as was the vegan waffles, egg sandwich, and biscuit & gravy dish that we ordered. The loud, bustling atmosphere is to be expected at a coffeehouse, and shouldn't be a problem for anyone who is easygoing :)

The best espresso I’ve had: a remarkable combination of the punch of bitter flavor you love, but astoundingly smooooooth. The lingering aftertaste of many espressos is simply absent. Dang. Now I want another one!

Don’t be put off if you encounter a long line. In true European style, the place is tight on space, but they move FAST! The staff is cheery, helpful, polite. They embody the quirky best of Flagstaff.
