Macy's European Coffeehouse & Bakery

We stopped here on our way back to Colorado and grabbed everything to go. Ended up being a delicious choice. We got breakfast sandwiches to tide us over, coffee to wake us up (I think mine was a Cap Royal), and then pastries to eat later in the day. All of it was good. The French cinnamon rolls were so unique and delicious (but messy!)

Holy pastries this place was great! They had the BEST sticky bun I’ve had in my life. Slightly crisp exterior and the ooiest gooiest center. I swear it was cooked it melted butter, just bursting with deliciousness buttery-ness.

I also had the cafe Viennese, soooo good. Unsweetened but almost like a dirty chai with all the allspice, nutmeg, clove, etc.

I stop by here everytime I'm in town. The house coffee is the best and so are the pastries. My favorites are the chocolate oatmeal and PB pastries (they didn't have any this time but everything else is very good).

Coffee shop wasn’t clean, every single person that walked in had to clean their own tables. Which really irritates us (especially it being a pandemic). The girl at the front was talking so low with her mask on you couldn’t even understand what she was saying. From our understanding—we seen reviews on google and this place looked “amazing”..However, it is the exact opposite!!! Paid $16.00 for two breakfast sandwiches we thought would have sausage or bacon or SOMETHING on them. They only had eggs and cheese and the croissant tasted like it was a toasted freezer burnt croissant that just crumbled when you touched it. And a total of $30.00 (total for breakfast and 2 coffees) for a cup of coffee I couldn’t even drink half an inch and finish the breakfast Sandwich while my other half didn’t even dig into his.

Would have loved to get my money back, but the line was so long out the door—we didn’t have the time or patience or appetite to sit there and wait any longer.

Being first timers here, we didn’t know you had to sit at the counter to grab your coffee and breakfast as well while it took the staff 3 people to make 1 coffee.

Don’t let the google pictures fool you, We wouldn’t recommend this place. We won’t be back.

Really cute cafe with yummy snacks and lovely drinks. Really sweet outdoor space for breakfast. The owner is a photographer and you can buy works by him and the staff. It seems like a really nice community :) visiting on early June 2021, there was no indoor dining option.

I used to live in Flagstaff 24 years ago. I was a truck driver for many years and I've had espresso in several different parts of the country. To this day, I haven't found any espresso that I enjoy more than Macy's. I live a thousand miles away now but still order whole bean espresso from Macy's when I can afford to treat myself. They ship UPS and provide good communication about the shipment. Made a cup today as soon as I received my order and I could tell the beans are very fresh. Thank you so much, Macy's staff! ☕️💓

Wonderful little warm, charming and friendly coffeehaus. The intimate interior is right up my alley for hanging out w a warm cup on a brisk morning. I had my americano of course, and it did not disappoint although it was a bit on the mild side…which is fine as it would get old if everyone’s beans were super bold. Hope to get back some day…ps the sweet pastries are yum! We tried a bunch.

Lovely food, great coffee, awesome worn building. All add up to a Flagstaff must stop if you need coffee pastries or food.

Amazing coffee and food that even non-vegetarians will love! Absolutely one of my favorite places in Flagstaff.

Delicious coffee and friendly, helpful staff! I asked the staff what they recommended based on my usual daily drink of cold brew and espresso with foam. The told me a little bit about their drinks and then recommend an iced americano. Then they recommend something light and sweet for the hubby which he enjoyed. We also had a shot of espresso to try the coffee plain because I wanted to buy coffee beans. I love it and bought the espresso beans. A huge thank you to the young lady with beautiful red hair due to her hospitality and friendliness. Great experience and much better than the coffee experience I had yesterday. I will definitely be back when visiting flagstaff.
