Black Rock Coffee Bar

Sadly way too sweet. We ordered 4 different drinks and they were all that way. :(

The staff are always nice and welcoming. The prices are reasonable (better than starbucks). The biggest thing I enjoy here is that the coffee actually tastes like it has coffee in it, and isn't just over sugared water like Starbucks.

First of all, I really like this place and DO recommend it. It has a great atmosphere (except I REALLY wish the music wasn't so loud). My review is based on every visit I've had since opening.

The staff is friendly, the drinks are good. However, every single time I've been here, both bathrooms are dirty, garbage cans are overflowing, soap is often out, and toilet paper is out, or just about out.

Also, the garbage cans inside the cafe are usually full to overflowing and you can't even put your drink in the garbage.

My recommendations:

1. Have staff check bathrooms hourly, make sure stocked up and clean and that toilets are working. (one was out of service for a couple of days).
2. Clean tables in the cafe at least once hourly as there is high turn over an tables are dirty.
3. Empty garbage cans when they get full.
4. Lower volume just a bit...perhaps at the Starbucks level.

Again, I like the location and atmosphere inside so these are hopefully helpful recommendations.

You can not go wrong with making Black Rock Coffee Bar your new favorite coffee shop. Just do it already. They know pull impeccable espresso shots, steam their milk to perfection, and give friendly and respectable customer service. JUST DO IT ALREADY. This chain is the pours the best coffees.

I went inside because the drive through line was quite long. I stood at the counter waiting to place an order. Our of the 8 people working not one person acknowledged me; several made eye contact but didn’t even have the courtesy to say someone will be with you soon. They have wonderful coffee but the staff is lacking in basic customer service. I wonder how many other sales they have lost because of this.

BLACK ROCK ROCK'S!!!! I love all the barista's. Very friendly and fast. Amazing customer service and they have the best coffee in town.

I wish I owned a franchise - and I'm mostly serious: a good product in high demand. I feel the prices have increased recently but the coffee really is a cut above Starbucks and Dutch Brothers. At a similar price point, I' don't know why you go anywhere else.

I hate to give one star when I love the fuel energy drinks here. Today, I came in at 10:35 to get a drink and hang out inside to get some work done. When I walked in, NO ONE greeted me. Stood at the counter for a couple minutes to order, no one said “hello” or “we’ll be right with you.” It’s a shame when businesses fail to train their employees on customer service. But at the same time, it’s common sense. I would consider coming back if their customer service game was stepped up.
