This is a great place to stop in for a good cup of coffee and baked goods. For the guest wanting heartier fare, they also offer a few savory breakfast sandwiches. Good WiFi and appealing Alaska lodge like furnishings make it one of the nicer spots to duck into in Valdez, which overall as a city is showing a good bit of aging otherwise.

Best coffee shop in Valdez, without question. We’ve been visiting for 3 days and have visited every morning. Love it!

An amazing coffee experience! Very cute shop and decor. The baked treats looked so yummy. Husband had not one negative comment about the coffee (and he’s usually very picky). Kids enjoyed their hot chocolates. They were REALLY busy and still managed to get product out quickly and with a smile.

I should have taken a photo of the amazing pumpkin spice cake roll that I had... it was so good, you'll have to take my word for it! The coffee is excellent and service is quick as well as friendly. A must- visit in Valdez!

Love this place! If I come back to Valdez again I will definitely revisit. I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate. It tasted more like a hot horchata with slight chocolaty notes, which made it very unique compared to other "Mexican hot chocolate" drinks I've had. They also can make these (and their mochas) with different types of chocolate, which I love because I'm a huge dark chocolate fan. My boyfriend ordered an iced dark chocolate mocha which was fantastic.
Aside from the drinks, the atmosphere is very cozy, with comfortably spaced seating, beautiful art on the walls, and great music. This would be a wonderful place to study.
