Smells great. Owner is nice. Does his own beans. Oddly, the coffee isn't as good as you'd expect. We all notice but can't figure it out.
Has cute local pottery in there tho...

Coffee Roasters is an amazing shop, with a delicious and diverse menu and Fabulous Baristas. They have a little Library, Wifi, bake their own goods in house, and always has a pleasant atmosphere!!
The girls always remember me and my drink! I love it!

This is my favorite coffee shop on the Kenai! Sure it's close to my house, but the environment is relaxed and great for a meet up with friend or colleague. Friendly barista's and if you don't watch out they may just start remembering your drink! :) Highly recommend!

I have been to this coffee shop one or two times a week for the last few months. It is conveniently located to longstanding appointments in the area. The atmosphere is very relaxing. They have a wide range of reading materials including some Carl Sagan. It is cool. They are also a delivery station for the Full Circle Organic Produce folks.

Sadly, that is where the positive ends. Out of all the times that I have been, at least a third of the time the beans were burnt. Of the last three times I have been, at least twice the beans have been burnt to where I could not drink the coffee. The last time the beans were burnt so badly that it tasted as though I were licking an ashtray.

Now, I am not a complainer. At least not when it comes to service places, I am pretty easy going and if the order is close I will just deal. My husband and I did not even complain when we tried their sandwiches and after letting them know to not put tomatoes, they put them on anyway. He was sick all day after that.

However, after deciding that I would try to save the coffee by adding some extra milk to it and finding an insect leg floating in my cup... I'm ready to call it quits on this place. I get that bugs show up in food, but ground up in the beans, and floating and recognisable are two different scenarios. I was pretty bummed.

The best coffee shop around! It’s great that they have a drive thru as well as a nice indoor space that you can hang out with friends. My favorite drink is a tan blended mocha.

Great place. Nice library. Good coffee and one free refill of drip coffee. Micah seems like a nice guy too (the owner/manager), I think. Also, a great selection of teas.

Haven't had coffee there in years, but stopped in to check out the food selection. Was a little disappointed to learn that they don't have much to choose from, but they are pretty healthy choices. And it's a little on the spendy side for what you get. I would go back for a quick snack.

Wonderful coffee and baked goods. The employees are very friendly and welcoming.
