Grand View Cafe and RV Park

My friend owns a cabin right down the street from this cafe. They always talks about how good it is. They let us go up to the cabin and spend some time. We decided to try the cafe, and it was really good. It was too busy for pizza, the weight was too long. So we got sandwiches and fries, they were all good. It's a nice little gem! And the staff is truly friendly.

Restarting staff is extremely patient. We were placing a pickup order while driving over and the signal cut 3 times. Each time I called back the worker on the other end was extremely patient and helped me with my order. Food was also solid, definitely a 10/10 experience.

Always a pleasure to stop by. Friendly staff and extremely clean. Large parking area. Coffee, pizza, beer, wraps…. Everything we’ve had has been delicious.

We came in for dinner while driving through the area...honestly, expectations were low since it looked like a regular roadside stop, but wow. Wow. WOW. The pizza was THAT great I texted a pal right away "think I just had the best pizza of my life - in Alaska of all places." The dough on it was simply on a different level altogether - so good that I'd happily eat a whole pie on its own, no toppings. Definitely happy we made the stop and uncovered this secret gem!

We have lived down the road from this restaurant for a couple years and decided tonight to go in and get dinner. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We got a pizza and Reuben Sandwich with fries and it was amazing. So delicious everyone enjoyed and we will definitely be back for more!!

This place is beautiful, easy access for pull inside and a very nice cafe.

I got a severe case of motion sickness while driving to Valdez yesterday and the staff was very nice, the cafe smelled incredible and being able to use the restrooms was a great relief to everyone with me. And a stunning view to match. 10⭐'s! Hope nothing but the best for all of the employees and our travel industry🇺🇲

Beautiful here but the Tok cut off is the worst road in Alaska

Food was great and the prices are actually incredible. our waiter was a bit lost in a fun-dynamic way, tho. The deserts are just 😍

I really want to give a bad review, just so others do not find this gem hidden off the highway and I can go there all the time! 😂

We scoped out places online for dinner on our way to Valdez and found this place. Germaphobe me was a little hesitant, but once inside, my mind was blown! Friendly staff, CLEAN bathroom, and EXCELLENT fries. OMG! THOSE FRIES!
We purposely did not eat breakfast on Sunday morning, anticipating a at Grand View Cafe, and boy, were we happy!
Burgers and fries this time around and again, a CLEAN bathroom!
Staff were extremely friendly, food was great and did I mention, a CLEAN bathroom!
