Best pizza in the MatSu. Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, and scopes and binoculars posted out front to look for sheep while you wait for your meal! We love the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza with Jalepenos(I added sourkraut to half this time). Staff is extremely nice and accomodating and the prices are reasonable and expected for the location. If you're tired of seafood and burgers on your trip, this is the place to stop! But their burgers and fries are equally delicious.

This is an unexpectedly lovely location with a friendly, welcoming, and warm staff. We ate in the Airstream most of our time but our few nibbles inside were quite tasty and the pie is excellent. They serve coffee beyond a normal roadside brew cup with their espresso machine. Reasonable rates for full to no hookup sites. Highly recommended for a night or two.

VERY clean RV park in a beautiful area. We needed a place to do laundry (staying at a nearby campground), and stopped here for beers and coffee while we waited.

FYI - we’re the computer dorks in the other review. We condensed to one table when it got busy. We are on work travel but in respect of the paying camp guests, we switched and used our hot spots. The Asian food smelled delicious and we 100% plan on coming back for that.

EDIT: came back for lunch. We had Nancy’s dumplings and the chicken fried rice. Both hit the spot. Very reasonable prices.

Very clean. They got good food options in the restaurant. Great place with great views.

Great RV park for an overnight stay. Full hookups are available, mountain views are incredible, and the cafe' serves good food at reasonable prices.

But the park is pretty much right on the highway with attendant noise and lack of privacy. And the spaces are close together.

So we had booked a night here but due to progressing our RV journey the day before found that we were in the area a night early. The building was closed but the owners were doing admin so i knocked and asked if we could stay a night early. They couldn't do enough to help and quickly settled us into the site so we could relax (it had been a long day).
The pitches are pleasant with full service (including cable TV!). The only slight negative (and it is slight) is that being next to a road there was some road noise but its Alaska and that means less than one vehicle an hour during the night!
We decided to have dinner in the restaurant and was very impressed, the lady owner is lovely and made a fuss of my daughter who had just got her exam results that morning and was celebrating her grades. The food was good but strangely served on small plates which meant they were piled high! I had the fish and chips and jolly good it was, i couldn't help noticing the table next to us as we left were having pizza and it looked amazing.
Was happy all in all and would stay there again happily.

Very nice people, nice restaurant and fair price for a tent site. We even had our own water spigot at our site. Beautiful views too. There isn't any privacy between sites but I didn't really expect any. The restrooms we're clean as we're the grounds.

Abysmal service. They were full, so I suppose I have to give them that, but they had two tables occupied by 3 computer dorks who were pretending to work while buying nothing and just leeching internet. So myself and my kids had to eat midair because we're stuck at a table for 2. Food was passable, but imminently forgettable, and I had to get up from my seat multiple times to effectuate drinks, get my own menus, ask for a box, etc. Will not return. Bonus: the view ain't that grand.

We stayed at Grand View RV Park June 30, 2022. It was 360⁰ of mountain views. It's peaceful minus the road noise but that didn't bother us at all. The staff is extremely friendly. We saw 6 Dall Sheep from out spot. If you go in the building they have binoculars to share and look for sheep. Clean showers for $3 in quarters and a laundry facility as well. Full hookup spots and a dump station for those that aren't. We had breakfast there and the food was really good. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a nice stay.
