When I lived in Talkeetna a few years ago, I would spend a lot of weekends in Girdwood. The Grind was my go-to spot for cappuccino's, baked goods and general good vibes. I love this place, and now that I've moved back to the lower 48, I always look forward to coming back to this place when I visit Alaska.

My new favorite coffee shop in Girdwood. Dunno why I never knew about it until today. Friendly staff, delicious beverages, cozy atmosphere...pretty much a win all around.

Fast & friendly service, reasonable prices, and great coffee! The food selection is sparse right now but that’s to be expected in these trying times 😅

Nice place. Good coffee, neat layout. Kinda of a throwback feel.
They had some trinkets for sale that were good for some laughs as well.
Definitely worth a try.

Great coffee shop! Best ever on trip from Colorado to Homer. A must stop if just for a break.

Smoothie. Red eye. Iced latte. Generous in spirit. Good vibes always. Fun shwag. A true gem. We'll be back for waffles and deep playlists. You must stop in here if you're in town when they're open. That's an order 😲

Nice place for a cup of coffee and a muffin. There are tables and chairs outside where you can sit and relax, or you can take a stroll to explore.

Pretty good espresso/cappuccino. Hours are off from what’s listed so don’t show up until 9:00 but otherwise really good

Don’t waste your time, there is better coffee elsewhere. First coffee shop I have ever been to that told me I couldn’t be there unless I bought coffee-so forget about jumping on the WiFi to check an email. The barista is rude and unwelcoming. She told us to leave unless we were going to buy one of their overpriced items-funny thing is, not only am I not buying something so I can stay, I’m never buying anything here again.
