Cala Coffee

Really cute coffee shop. Got a breakfast taco from ladybird taco and an oat milk latte, both of which were very good! The environment is really fresh and open. Will come back!

Wonderful coffee!! Love that they roast their own!! Their location in Cahaba heights is quaint, cozy and warm! Kind and friendly staff! Coffee is so good! You have to try it!

Fun local spot with good coffee, a selection of breakfast items (pastries are from Bandit, another Birmingham local owned business), and plenty of seating. If you’re looking for coffee on this side of Bham, dodge those chains and come here.

Love this new shop! The aesthetic are so inviting and fun. The drinks are awesome, we only have Cala coffee at our house, but look forward to enjoying coffee here at the shop. The owners are passionate and amazing and really make you feel at home!

Cala is an AMAZING place! Perfect if you wanting to grab a cup of coffee on your way to work, catch up with an old friend, or bring your family for coffee and tacos on a Saturday morning! It’s a great environment with friendly staff and even better coffee! The lavender latte is my go too! 10/10 Recommend

Exceptional coffee from wonderful people. Since the OG coffee cart was first built, I’ve been using their beans at home and treating myself out with them. Very delicious coffee since the beginning. Now they have their own location and it’s very special. It’s been rewarding to see the growth and how it’s done right. Thanks y’all and really looking forward to a great future.

Amazing coffeeshop! I tried their honey cinnamon latte and it was delicious. The coffeeshop is very spacious and open, with plenty of seating areas indoors as well as outdoor benches. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back!

We are so excited to have such an amazing local coffee shop in Cahaba Heights! The coffee never disappoints. Their new space is so cozy and will be a great place to hang out with neighbors. I am so proud of the owners and all they are doing to parter with other local businesses.

Great family-run Birmingham coffee roaster with great service. It doesn’t have the big-chain logo or name recognition, but it has better coffee. Cala is a nice place to hang out if you have time to dawdle, but lots of take out customers came through during our time there. Highly recommended.

Cala Coffee is a beautifully designed, intentionally crafted third wave shop. Their space is big enough to spread out and do some work, or sit at the communal high top for a quick bite. Not only do they roast their beans in house, they hand make their syrups and keep a rotation of local pastries and breakfast tacos for some quick eats.
