I've been eyeing this place down for a while but never had a need for an early breakfast downtown. Today was the day and after the experience I'm a super-fan!
I grabbed the breakfast steak and expected your regular low quality flank steak - to my surprise they serve what they sell, quality cuts of meat! The price is awesome for what you get - I'm beyond impressed with the food!
I asked for sweet tea and expected your average offering. What I got was a quality glass of Piper & Leaf tea with refills at no cost! This leaves an excellent impression when most places change $4+ per cup of this stuff!
The waitress was excellent as well, she was waiting on all tables and still managed to make me feel as if I was her only table - great service overall!
I'll certainly be back here the next time I need a quality breakfast, steak hits different in the morning!

Delish! While there, we met owners Erick and Stephanie Luther and they could not have been nicer. The food is excellent - Erick is the Chef. The grocery and market is full of locally sourced, high quality products. I was most impressed with their fresh meat counter and baked fresh daily bread. If not going for a meal, it's a great spot to pick up unique foods, wine and gifts.

What a cool little gem in downtown Huntsville! We were looking for a breakfast place when we came across the Standard Social Market. This place has one of the coolest vibes downtown. It's a bar, coffee shop, market, AND restaurant! We had the Old School Breakfast (added pancakes), and the French toast (added potatoes) with mimosas (orange juice). All were excellent and are highly recommended. If you are downtown and looking for something different, give this place a shot!

I've walked by here so many times, but finally took the plunge to meet for brunch--so glad we did! The atmosphere is so cozy, and everything is well decorated. It's a market, bar, coffee lounge, restaurant, and grab-n-go all in one! Such a cool environment! Our server was so friendly and quite patient as we took our time to chat and go over their menu. It's not a huge selection, but that was quite welcome, in my opinion. I get overwhelmed when restaurants have 100 choices! I started off with a hazelnut latte, which was the perfect drinking temperature upon serving...quite surprising! Not overly sweet and a good balance of hazelnut and coffee. We ordered fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and shrimp & grits. Our frost round of tomatoes was cold on the inside due to being sliced too thick. Our waitress was so kind about it and brought fresh, perfectly cooked ones out again. I'm crazy picky about pimento cheese, but theirs is fabulous! The tomatoes were fried so well and not greasy. Total win! The shrimp and grits were some of the best I've had (and that's a lot!). Tender, perfectly cooked shrimp, creamy grits, small chunks of conecuh sausage, and just enough peppers to give it flavor and color. The cream sauce was delicious... I devoured it far quicker than anticipated. The food is not inexpensive, but honestly well worth it. It's no more costly than any other place around Huntsville. I'm excited to go back and try more! Great environment, great service, and great food--definitely give it a try!

Awesome breakfast. I had the steak and eggs. I was leary of a steak for breakfast because often breakfast steaks are thin and overcooked. Wow, to my surprise, it was decent thickness and cooked to my desired temperature of medium rare, and was very tender. It was a dinner quality steak! The rest of my breakfast was also delicious. My wife commented that her veggie omelette was superb.

This was some of the best brunch I've ever had. There was a bit of a wait (I can see why) but it was well worth it. Very friendly staff and great food. The breakfast burrito was amazing and the potatoes on the side were the perfect kind of crispy. I can't wait to come back and eat here again.

Nice Brunch Spot. I really enjoyed the Steak. Altbough it came out lukewarm my server corrected it as soon as we brought it to his attention. I never understood why resteraunts wait to bring everything together but that's the case here. I also had a biscuit with gravy, because I was torn. I was really packed. I suggest going outside of rush hours. Shrimp & Grits was cooked to perfection. Pictures added. Definitely a little peice of heaven in downtown Huntsville.

A little drafty because of the cold and table wasn't really big enough to hold appetizers and entrees. Other than those 2 things I had great experience. I'm happy to go back and explore the menu. It is an easy gem of the city to enjoy brunch.

Stone was a great server. Chefs were friendly. Grocery store is reasonably priced and has some great finds. Well mixed drinks. Best part is you can eat while you wait for your food. (Food is not Applebees so don’t expect those prices.) The fries were amazing. Will definitely be back.

I was on my way to Stella's to have a quick drink. However, I stumbled upon this nice little restaurant. The drink was very good and the appetizer was great. Now, I need to make my way back to try some of the other items on the menu. Good job Standard Social Market.
