First time dining at Rolo's Cafe. Our server (Stephanie) was very nice and extremely efficient; taking care of several other guests within our seating area. We were there for breakfast and it did not disappoint; pancakes, country fried steak, eggs, bacon, grits & biscuits.....Southern-style cookin' at it's finest, and at very reasonable prices! We have family coming in for an upcoming visit and we'll definitely be taking them to Rolo's. Having just moved to Alabama from Utah, we now have a solid choice for breakfast. Great job everyone; see y'all again, soon!

I love this place! The staff is unbelievably friendly. The food is great. Randomly stumbled upon it when I was shopping in the area, and now I try to stop in once a week. Love to support local, and this place is truly a gem.

Had the meatloaf, mac-n-cheese and pinto beans. Not one item had salt, seasoning or any flavor what so ever. I was so disappointed. I didn't even eat any more after 1st bite. Lady behind the cash register didn't smile or greet me but a server did. I use to love this place but not now.

Very good place. It makes me miss my grandparents because they used to take me to get this type of food a lot when I was younger. Delicious simple foods, especially the mashed potatoes, like I grew up eating. Prices are excellent as well. I will definitely be coming back here frequently to eat. Next time I'll be trying the peach cobbler!

The peach cobbler is also delicious, although I wish it had more peaches and less "bread". Sometimes it's s little too runny as well.
Breakfast is great. I got the French toast, bacon, and biscuit and sausage gravy. My boyfriend got the pancakes with bacon. Everything was good. I really liked the biscuit and sausage gravy. And the pancakes were really fluffy and moist and delicious.
They used to have a chocolate gravy biscuit, that was really good, but unfortunately they don't sell that one anymore.

The prices on the menu are not what we were charged when we went and picked up our food. We work at the hospital across the street so we can’t sit and eat at a place of business… the food was ok, not everyone got what they ordered or what it says comes with the food on the menu again we are limited for time so we couldn’t go back and get what we should of gotten…on the menu online it says my dinner should of been $7.45 and I was charged $11.98, again please update your menu online it can be very deceiving

I very rarely give 5 stars but they deserve it!!! The fried green tomatoes my Lord!!!! The service was amazing they were so friendly. The atmosphere gives you a mom and pop feel that makes you feel right at home. This was true authentic SOUTHERN cuisine. I plan to go back soon so I can try more things.

This is good ol' classic country food. No frills, good food.
Growing up in the south but acquiring a more diverse food pallette as I've gotten older, it's always nice to have something that reminds you of home. This food reminds me of the kind of food you'd get at a covered dish at your local small town church.
The service was nice and friendly. I had the famous 8 hour pot roast, greens, and mac and cheese. The flavor was there. The prices were pretty cheap compared to everything else nowadays.
If you want a good no frills country meal, support local and go to Rolos.

Staff was very helpful and courteous but when the food arrived is lukewarm at best. Even the fries were not hot.
