Shipley Do-Nuts

Never a disappointment but the owner really needs to think about sprucing the place up. The "porch" on the place could be dressed up a bit as could the inside dining area.

I'm not sure if you can get fresh donuts made when you order like you can at Krispy Kreme (but I haven't asked for that) but it doesn't really matter because Shipley's are just so much better than Krispy Kreme anyway.

Ive heard a lot of people go on and on about their devils food and maple/bacon donuts. I haven't actually tried either, but felt like it was worth mentioning. Otherwise its pretty much just good donuts across the board.

You will go nuts after these donuts! Everything they make are very good. Make sure you get one of each yumminess!

Everything is great, highly recommend their kolaches (any), bear claws and blueberry cake doughnuts.

Shipley Do-Nuts has fantastic cake style doughnuts. Their fritters are exactly like the apple fritters you can get in New England/up state New York. They have a huge selection of doughnuts every day.

If your not in the mood for a doughnut in the morning, i would highly recommend trying their kolache's. They are basically a hand made hot pocket. My personal favorite is the sausage-jalapeno and cheese, but the ham and cheese is fantistic too.

Dunkin donuts, Krispy kreme, the grocery store..... b%@#h please! If you want donuts in birmingham, this is your place. Don't miss out on the kolaches, that would be regrettable. Sausage, jalapeno, and cheese for me please!

Great Price! Great Food! Very friendly! They helped me out my first time in there. I wasnt rushed out of the way or anything. I was allowed to take my time and order. The menu was explained to me in full with no problems. Love this. Waay better than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. Honest! 😌

All sold out of my favorite apple fritters right before closing one Saturday however the nice lady gave me a complimentary chocolate donut for my disappointment.
