Birmingham needed a coffee shop like this. It has the look and feel of a big city coffee shop but plenty of space to study or carry on conversation. Luis is an excellent manager, and the staff does a great job to ensure a quality experience.

Decor was industrial, but still very nice. Atmosphere was....adequate...2 bartistas on duty one was pleasent the other, who took my order, was unpleasant to say the least. I assumed she was having a bad day, but I wouldn't go back to this shop because of her. Coffee was sufficient though the taste was extremely mellow. Fine place just be careful of the employees.

Revelator on 3rd is one of my go-to coffee shops. Their coffee is truly excellent. You can taste a higher level of quality here, even compared to other specialty coffee shops. It’s very close to my office so I use it as an office away from the office for meetings with clients in a more casual setting or just as a place to hide away and get work done.

Nice little minimalistic coffee joint, as you may expect to see in larger metro areas, or even hubs like NYC. The atmosphere and service was great, the espresso was good, but a little acidic, which is simply a taste profile choice. Highly suggest the veggie scone , which is worth the price of admission on its own.

If you want to find a good coffee place in Birmingham, Revelator must be high on the list. The quality of coffee served here is top notch. The staff is always friendly and quick. The atmosphere is modern and calm.

We checked two different outlets including their website to make sure they were open. Their website said 6 and google said 3. We got into the area at 2:30 and parked a few blocks down cause parking was full. Walked about 10 min to the door to find a sign taped on the door saying they close at 1 today. The point of all this technology around us is to use it to the fullest and post updates. So frustrating that not even their website was updated.

In my opinion, it is the best coffee in town. They roast it locally and distribute it to all of their locations in the southeast. You will not be getting a bunch of flavored junk or crazy sugary lattes here. This is just clean, real coffee, with a few options including in-house syrups. You can get regular brewed, pour over, or cold brew, and all taste much richer than what many people may be used to.

Cute place to walk to, friendly staff!

not impressed. overpriced (don't ask for an extra shot...it's $2 on top of the $5 they charge for a 10 oz latte....you get that sticker shock when they ring you up. It's not on the menu.) and they never even made my drink after 20 minutes. Asked for a refund, the cashier had no idea what I ordered, spent another 10 minutes trying to find my order, and didn't know how to do issue the refund once she found it. So then she had to get the manager. Who also had to had no idea and had to figure out how to grant a refund, and who couldn't tell if the register had added the credit back to my card or not. I was offered a cash refund, then he changed his mind, and I was asked to leave my contact info and check back in 4 days. Nope. Keep the $7 and $1 tip for that hassle. They did offer a free drink for my trouble but I won't be back.

Cool vibe with great coffee selection. Several seating options and friendly staff with coffee knowledge for good drinks.
