Revelator Coffee

I would give it 5 stars but they were out of the bagged beans to purchase last time.

It’s good that they hire people allergic to smiling and pleasantries. But for an $8.70 coffee, I miss seeing/hearing that.

Good espresso and coffee with great service in a clean and relaxing environment.

Cool shop! No line and easy to order. I ordered two lattes to go and the total was $11; I tipped a $1 to make it an even $12. When the two lattes came they were TINY. Like ten ounces total for each one. That was the biggest size that had apparently. It tasted wonderful. I walked back to our hotel with them and my friend was like “wow…that’s like a coffee sippy cup”. Coffee tasted great. But come on…a shop should make a bigger latte for that price.

I thought this was a great place to hang out on a cold Saturday morning. The staff was friendly, the coffee hot and tasty, the environment comfortable, and the bacon cheddar biscuit delicious. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m attending events at the Alabama Theatre or Lyric, but it’s really worth the trip on its own accord.

Love the vibe! I had an iced matcha latte with oat milk and lavender honey flavoring. A unique spot right in downtown Birmingham. The Matcha was refreshing and a great pairing of flavors. I recommend a visit if you are nearby!

Exceptional service. Recommended by a coffee friend from Birmingham so I gave it a try. The cortado with oat milk was fantastic and well made. Regular drip was also very good

Great coffee (and teas.) Great food. Great staff. Emphasis on the last part. Felt like I was hanging out at a friend’s kitchen counter drinking great coffee and having a conversation. Best coffee shop in downtown Birmingham.

Super cool spot, great handcrafted coffees and syrups (dark chocolate, yummm!). Will definitely be back.
