Went for brunch, first time trying breakfast burrito. Would recommend. Drinks were delicious, had the Strawberry Lemonade.

When there was a Five Bar in Knoxville I LOVED it and ate there almost weekly. I was so sad when it closed. I was thrilled to find one in Birmingham and ordered my former “usual” of the strawberry lemonade cocktail and cheeseburger. The drink, salad and fries were wonderful and as remembered. The cheeseburger was room temperature!!! I was so disappointed. It had obviously been sitting for quite some time before it was served to me. The flavors were great, but not very fun eating a cold burger. My friends both ordered the paneed chicken and loved it. Pretty disappointed

Very disappointed. We were visiting Birmingham and had amazing experiences at the local restaurants, but this one was the exception. We came for Brunch. The food was horrible. Limited menu. We ordered Beignets (this was the only food that was very good), Five Burrito with Hash Browns (it was cold, no flavor, overcooked, and those were the worse hash browns that I’ve ever had), Chicken and Waffles (cold, waffle was hard and the taste in general wasn’t good). The service was just average. Next time I’m in Birmingham this place is not going to be one of my options, especially with the amazing options with better food selections, prices and service that you find around.

I've visited FIVE for their brunch and also their dinner, and I have not been disappointed! Even though they only do 5 entrees at a time on the menu, the variety and the consistency is noteworthy. Plenty of parking and in a great location. We've been there at prime times to eat and have been able to get a table pretty regularly, so it's also a good backup place to go if you have other plans that fall through.

The live jazz band that was featured today was fantastic! Well trained musicians bringing the soul and the funk to the mix. The vocalist sang the stories with a lot of feeling. Good atmosphere.

First place to make me love avocado. Did I mention it is baked with shrimp and bacon, and a little spicy but not overwhelmingly. First 2 pictures... Never have I gotten SOOOOOO MUCH CRAB in the crab cakes 😍😍😍 definitely worth every penny you spend here. The service was nice as well. Last but not least the desert was White Chocolate Bread Pudding and it is to die for! Definitely add this on your list of places to go if you haven't been.

We came for a later brunch around 1 on a Sunday and there was no wait. It was raining though. We enjoyed ourselves! The food was slightly disappointing based on the reviews that I’d read. Maybe I’d just pumped myself up more than I should have. Everything was just a little bit on the cool side.

The atmosphere and staff were incredible. Our waitress was very helpful in helping us choose dishes. There was a three piece band playing in the corner that consisted of tuba, banjo, and trumpet. It was a really fun combination to have playing behind the meal.

Out for brunch following church services and was looking for something different. This place was definitely it! From the food to the atmosphere enjoyed it to the utmost! I'm looking forward to experiencing dinner there!

I visited Birmingham to surprise a friend. I was looking for a nice brunch spot. I had read the reviews and almost every review was a good one, but they all stated there was a wait. So, I was expecting a wait. And sure enough there was a wait, about 30 - 50 minutes. In any case, we got in and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. They had a live band playing that was really nice, too. This place has a really nice vibe and is great for big groups. I suggest you ccheck it out, but don't go if you're starving. Also, the beignets are soooooo delicious, try them!!!

Today was probably just a bad day but you only get one chance to make a first impression. We ordered the Beignets and then 10 minutes later the waitress came back to tell us they were out. We ordered chicken and waffles but they were out of bone in chicken so they had to sub for tenders at an additional $2. I didn't realize that the waffle had nuts (I'm allergic) I simply asked for another waffle and apologized for my mistake and then all of a sudden they're out of waffle mix. It would've been believable if they had not continued to bring out waffles to other guests. The manager comes over to apologized and continue the out of waffle mix statement and then said I wouldn't be charged for it. Well duh....I didn't eat it! The food that was eaten had potential but it came out barely warm. They were also out of grapefruit juice. Food had been on the table at least 5 minutes before we could even get silverware to eat it. I probably won't ever go back but people do speak highly of the food. Last and final annoyance was one person ordered shrimp and grits as an appetizer and his wife helped him eat it so the waitress took it upon herself to split the payment for it between the entire table and not just him and his wife. That made no sense to me and my husband. To say the least, the service sucked big time today.
