Denny's

AMAZING employees!! Our host, Mike, was so nice and our waitress, Jessica, was as well. Totally blown away by actual happy people! Bourbon chicken sizzling skillet was really good as wad my chicken fried steak! Fast service too! We had to travel 1400 miles to find a spectacular Denny's!! When our waitress needed to go on break she introduced us to her replacement 🤯 If I could bring this Denny's back home with me I would.

Awesome-sauce! Very friendly servers, I wish we would’ve gotten our servers name bc she deserves a shout out:) Clean bathrooms! Clean restaurant! Food was great! My husband is a long haul trucker so we’re in & out of truck stops daily & I’m always looking for a Denny’s attached to a Flying J’s to stop over for the night. Unfortunately we’ve haven’t had the best experience lately with Denny’s locations so we are happy happy happy! Thanks guys! Your great!

The food was OK, I had the spicy skillet dinner. I found that the food flavor texture was flat, it was spicy but not enough variety of flavors.

Also when we went in they had all the shades down and so it was dark. Halfway through our meal the opened up the blinds and it was much better.

The food is 3 stars and sometimes overpriced (Note: this review is being written at seemingly the height of inflation, in mid-2022), basically, but the staff is usually friendly and attentive at this location, so I can't justify giving this location 3 stars.

Also, if you go there for breakfast, they of course have everything you'd expect. They'll Their even warm up your syrup gor you since IHOP and Denny's no longer bring it out warm like you'd expect.

The lunch/dinner menu changes often enough that by the time I find something I really like, it's replaced with something I don't. I feel like a lot of "staple" American food is missing with their "progressive" menu, just depending on what's on the menu at the time.

It's frustrating and disappointing, especially when hungry, to look at a menu and have to make a decision between things that don't look appetizing.

On this occasion, I had chicken fried chicken (pictured), which was pretty decent. I'd have preferred a regular chicken breast, but that wasn't an option at this time.

So basically, it's 4 stars because the staff is consistently great, but if you want better food, obviously go somewhere that cost a bit more.
They are Denny's, not The Olive Garden. Always expect it to be the lower range of sit-down restaurants.

The restaurant was short-staffed (do to call in's), but the staff that DID show up to work today...did great! I was so impressed with the salad with the Alaskan Salmon! Very good...

My dinner was made exceptionally well. I asked the manager on duty (Vonita) who made my bourbon chicken and the chef Jose did a marvelous job. My vegetables were cooked and still crispy. My chicken was juicy and delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

The service at this location is what makes it so great. I have yet to have a server that isn't attentive and polite. As far as food it's Dennys inexpensive and fills you. Not a Michelin star restaurant by any means but definitely satisfies. As long as the service remains as good as it is I will be a regular.

It was more like a 3.5 ⭐ visit. My over-easy eggs had more oil on them than yoke in them. The rest of the meal was good. Service was kind and attentive. I would revisit this location without hesitation.

The food was great and they messed up my bosses order and the waitress got mad and we had empty glasses of drinks sitting at the table and the two ladies just stood around and watching TV. When we tried get their attention them gave a look and looked behind themselves. As we are about to leave then they wanted to help us with something and as we are about leave. We visited bc we were hungry for something to eat right before we go to the next place to work.

I wasn't too impressed. The 2 things that I really wanted on their menu, they didn't even have. I had already paid for the food before they told me they didn't have what I ordered, and tried to substitute it with something else on their menu. At least, they did give me more food for free to help minimize the inconvenience. I did appreciate their effort.
