Coal Train Coffee Depot

My kids and I love hanging out at this place. Coffee is amazing, as well as every food item we’ve ever tried. I recently rented the space to use for a bridal shower and it could not have been a better experience. Denise was extremely accommodating and flexible to work with. She and her daughter, Emily, made delicious food for the party and were kind and efficient preparing coffee for the guests. I would give ten stars if I could!!

Unique setting - old train depot. Iced tea is very good and their caramel apple pull-apart is excellent.

Amazing coffee shop in Rock Springs, amazing service— they treated us like regulars and gave us great suggestions on our way up to the Tetons. The interior seems to be an old renovated train station with eclectic antiques that make for a special atmosphere. To say that this place is worthy of your business would be an understatement!

Such a cool little gem! They have amazing pastries and coffee made fresh each day! Their sandwiches are so good! And they do a homemade soup of the day that you cant pass up! Friendly service and all over awesome environment. Love that it's in a historic train station!

The coffee was delicious, it was such a cute little set up too! Definitely represents the town well! The staff was entirely friendly and had amazing attention to detail. We also were traveling from Washington to Colorado and my friend misplaced her phone in the bathroom there and did not realize until we were almost 3 hours away. The manager was extremely sweet and agreed to send it back to our home town! Not a lot of super generous people like that nowadays! We definitely hope we can come back someday!

would give ZERO if i could. took 40 minutes to get one coffee and a bagel sandwich. when i went up to ask where it was the very rude cashier just told me it would be out soon. after ten more minutes i asked for a refund and she Refused. not how you handle an unhappy customer. also in the middle of ordering my food the women in charge interrupted me just to basically yell at the cashier for not bringing someone’s food out fast enough. they need a lot of organizational help. also feel the need to add that my iced coffee was half water and the bagel sandwich was soggy and the side of fruit consisted of 4 grapes. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Always a wonderful place to gather, peaceful and inviting, with a wide selection of lattes, teas, cold drinks and sweet treats. The historic train depot setting is unique and interesting.

What a NICE relaxing place.....I would say you have 2 try the "Reindeer" drink, so so YUMMY.....🤤☻

Had a chai tea latte that was delicious and the mixed berry scone that was delightful.😋 Recommend stopping here if you're passing through!!!
